I reserved the shuttles a few weeks before my wedding and didnt have a lot of other options. Patrick requested to send my credit card info over email which I didnt love but I went through with it. I wish I had listened to my gut because suddenly there were two duplicate charges for the same amount on my card statement. After the wedding I emailed Patrick and he told me he would reverse the duplicate charge, however this never happened. I finally disputed with my credit card company and Subshuttle sent documentation to them trying to say the charge was accurate. I then had to reopen the dispute with my credit card company and give screenshots of my email with Subshuttle, etc and now 3 months later the charge is finally reversed. I also emailed and called Subshuttle 4 times in the last couple months and just never got another response back. I would advise to look elsewhere for shuttle services unless you want to be disputing charges for months.

But starting last fall, Reuben and his business just "went off the air". We knew he was leaving the Aptos area and retiring to Merced. He told us he had purchased a home there and was looking forward to it. At some point last fall his phone continued to work and I could leave messages but he simply stopped communicating. We gave up after numerous tries and felt bad that Reuben wouldn't call us back or put on a recording thanking his good customers and saying he had retired and wasn't accepting any more requests for service.
