That can be a pretty big risk for a doctor or dentist's office, as my insurance sent me the check that they should have sent to the dentist's office and I'm sure some people keep those checks. My dentist anxiety is off the charts and they are very accommodating and sweet. Dr Burnes is efficient, kind, patient, and tells you everything he's doing so there's no surprises. The response from the owner is a complete lie. We left our old dentist as they were not in-network with our insurance. We have gone back with them as they are truly transparent and ethical. They do NOT say they will do any work without finding out if the insurance covers it and if the patient will cover it. The fact that you are willing to write a multi-paragraph reply clearly shows how far you are willing to go to attempt to cover your behind knowing you are at fault.
