Recently I went to Coast Dental to get an evaluation of my dental condition. Dr Nam consulted me on various solutions and put my mind to ease by his confidence and openness. Dr Nam and his assistant, Margarita Kocic, have been simply wonderful during the restoration process of my dental issues. They both showed great concern of my personal issues resulting from my postherpetic neuraligia. Dr Nam took the time to discuss various options to resolving my neglected dental issues, in a way that left me comfortable and without any nervous reaction or hesitation. On December 16th I had the top teeth extracted, some were just roots. Dr Nam and Ms Margarita were excellent during the process. I was preped with no problems and all care was taken and no pain was felt throughout the nearly 2 hour procedure. On January 14th I returned to have the bottome teeth extracted, again two were just roots. Both Dr Nam and Ms Maragrita made the situation comfortable and painless. The careful instructions given by Ms Maragrita were simple and easy to follow, making the healing much easier. I look forward to returning on February 12th to get an impression of my upper and lower mouth and eventurally having my dentures shortly after that. I would highly recommend Dr Nam for any and all dental concerns/issues, had he been my dentist years ago, I am sure my teeth would have been in much better condition. Ms Margarita has been particularly sensitive to my concerns and discomforts. They make a very professional team.

He told me to come in for a FREE Xray and evaluation . After reviewing my Xray's and a full examination he told me there's NOTHING wrong with my gums and I " DO NOT " need to have them replaced with Implants ! I had no idea what they offered. I asked to see samples and they showed me samples of three different dentures from three different molds. It is hard to make a split decision when you are about to pay 4k for dentures. When I continued to ask questions the assistant walked out of the room and sent in the office manager. I was confused. The office manager introduced herself and asked which dentures I would be purchasing when I asked questions and she was short. I finally said I won't be getting dentures her. She said fine and took off the dental bib. It was a horrible experience. From the moment I walked in the receptionist asked me for ID. I asked her why and she said, she didn't know they just take IDs. The paperwork is ridiculously long. Further, they do not accept insurance but insisted I sign a paper that says if insurance doesn't pay, I am responsible. Why would I sign a form that had no relevancy to the care I am receiving. Lastly, they asked for my social, which I refused to give them because payment is due at the time you decide which dentures you are purchasing. So why do they need a social security number. There are no payment plans or credit so social security numbers are unnecessary because there is no debt owed. I am giving them one star because in order to leave a review I am required to give a star or else I would say 0/10 highly do not recommend.

I have periodontal disease and have had it for years, so I knew what to expect. I went back last week and had a deep cleaning, on one side, which was done under local anesthesia (shots). Dr Christy has a gentle touch and a very calming demeanor, which helps with someone as nervous as I am in the dentist chair. My deep cleaning went well and I go back in a couple of weeks to have the other side done. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The office is clean, modern and has a very nice atmosphere. I was told that it all has to match my ID. I can prove that it doesn't, because my current name on file isn't what's on my ID. The X-ray tech was friendly, the hygienist was fine. The dentist was rude and clearly did not believe that my crown had come off just a couple days ago. This is a crown that had been made and placed by this office, and it just popped off while eating, so who knows how long it had been loose and just stuck between the neighboring teeth. When I called to make an appointment, I told the woman on the phone that I don't have dental insurance. She said they could make the initial X-rays and exam free, and it would be $149 to repair my crown and put it back on. When I got to the billing desk, the initial things were free, but the rest was totally different. That's where I was told that I also have two cavities, and all of the "necessary" work would be over $4000 - about $2000 of that is for a new crown.
