I have periodontal disease and have had it for years, so I knew what to expect. I went back last week and had a deep cleaning, on one side, which was done under local anesthesia (shots). Dr Christy has a gentle touch and a very calming demeanor, which helps with someone as nervous as I am in the dentist chair. My deep cleaning went well and I go back in a couple of weeks to have the other side done. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The office is clean, modern and has a very nice atmosphere. As soon as Dr. Hernandez took the tooth off I could smell the rotting tooth. It had to have had an infection. It took a long time to get the area cleaned and sutured up. Both of us stayed the course. Friday I woke up to the doctor calling me to see how I was feeling. Pain meds & antibiotics were ordered for my continued healing. The price was high, but you get what you pay for.
