A couple of our rounds we had to ask for things (such as towels and getting our clubs cleaned since we were leaving our clubs for the next day). Maybe the process is different from the expectations based on experiences in other states. While the clubhouse is nice enough, the food is pretty mid. We had lunch the first day but decided we would not eat there any of our other 2 rounds. Pro shop personnel were cordial and communication was great. We booked our tee times thru a group service which entitled us to additional discounts on any merch.

From the clubhouse, to the golf course and the many potential area for a wedding! I've had the pleasure to witness my maid of honor (yes she still holds the title despite her getting married before me...lol) get married at this place. The ceremony was outdoors with the river being the backdrop and the tree being the center focus. decorated with Chinese lanterns. Once the ceremony was over, we moved back up to the outdoor reception area. A tent was pitched over the patio, with a stage for a 5 piece band; 25 tables of 8 (200 guests); a double-sided bar stations and a buffet. There is also a fireplace to cozy up when the night came. They also offer upgraded linens with chiavari chairs as standard. The food was excellent, the bartenders were quick and efficient in supplying the guests with unlimited beverages and there was also kegs available. Based on the time of the ceremony and reception, we were able to enjoy the sunset while dinning. Overall, this place is an ideal location for a wedding and I am surprise no one has yet to write an review for it. :)

Luckily the golf carts have an incredible breaking system. The front 9 is a bit more difficult while the back 9 eases up. The staff were amazing- friendly and inviting. The day we went there was no cart girl but the pro shop had a variety of sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. The scenery here was unbelievable! All in all, challenging course but had a blast. Definitely plan on returning on our trips to Lake Martin! *Editing to mention there was a lot of red dirt in areas I feel like sand should be placed to elevate the course and to keep from dirtying or damaging clubs. You can tell they've put some work on the course and possibly it's still in the process of getting worked on but that's the only negative to say about this place!

Each course is unique and has a nice layout. The course is fun for all experience and skill levels! The course is maintained, however there are some problem areas and some greens are not in the based of shape at times. The staff is very welcoming and genuine!
