Brought my girls here for a fun outing and they thoroughly enjoyed the large selection of pottery, colors, brushes and techniques. Staff was very friendly and greeted us at the door. After we picked out our pottery to paint, she explained the process and left us alone to create our masterpiece. Love the bright and organized space! Perfect for families, kids, catching up with friends, etc. They also host special events and kids parties. Prices are reasonable for the artwork. They're ready within 6 days per staff. I loved the comfortable experience but now it feels they are trying too hard to rebrand and only make money. This used to be my favorite spot but unfortunately I will no longer be giving my service. I had a great time at my first ever painting pottery! I took my girlfriend on a date there and we had a great time together! The staff greeted us once we walked in and walked us through the whole process. They were super nice and friendly and would help you if you had any questions. I had never done anything like this before and they made it a BREEZE! I was impressed! They have a large selection of clay formations pre made for you to pick out. From dish wear to owls and game controllers, there is something here for everyone! I encourage anyone that thinks they might enjoy having a fun time painting their own creation! Adorable DIY craft studio downtown Wausau! Great for families, dates or an outing with friends! My husband and I spent an afternoon here painting glaze on Christmas ornaments during a weekend ski getaway. We wouldn't have known about the place, except that we were staying at the Jefferson Inn right down the street and happened to walk by it on our way to dinner Friday night. In addition to clay ornaments, they have plates, mugs, glasses and various figurines you can paint. The prices were really reasonable, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. We came the weekend after Christmas and were able to paint a box of four ornaments for $24. We were disappointed to hear that it takes six days for the ornaments to be kiln fired and ready to take home (too long for our three day trip), but the staff offered to ship the ornaments to us for only $8. For those who don't want to wait, they also have canvases and glass wine glasses you can paint and take home the same day. read more
