Deliveries are always delayed, multiple times . The most recent one I ordered before noon, with a delivery window between 3pm - 5pm. So far it's been delayed twice, with no update for the last 4 hours now. Pretty ridiculous. Walmart+ memberships are a ripoff scam. read more

I am very impressed by this Walmart store's response to the Covid situation. Normally, my reaction to my experience within the typical Walmart is "3 Stars, tops". In the last year, I have seen, in a cross-section of this chain's stores, a palpable beginning of better store appeal, employee morale, and customer service. But, since Covid happened, this store's response has been stellar. As an old guy, I appreciate the Seniors Only Hour from 6AM to 7PM at this store, because the items I couldn't find during general store hours are mostly in stock, and the employees are extra helpful in helping us oldsters find them. There hasn't been one time, since I moved to Wisconsin 3 weeks ago, that employees failed to give me a smile and, at least, a friendly "Hello!", or asked me if they could be of assistance. I have yet to endure a "lumpitalumpita" cart or a price tag missing on that one item that I needed, which is amazing to me. read more

My family opt to use the grocery pick up Service. We were supposed to pick it up between 4-5 pm. I got there at 3:55, at 4 they texted it wouldn't be ready in time. At 6:18 they said it was ready for pickup. I am already annoyed because our kids are in a routine. Dinner no later than 6, 7:30 bath, 8 bedtime. I get there at 6:27 and let them know I'm in slot number 5. I waited for over 30 minutes, and called a second time at 7:05. They were rude and said they didn't know when we'd get our groceries. I literally could have gone in bought the 50 items, gone through the self checkout and packed up the car with 2 young children in tow in the half hour I waited. I cancelled the order and was forced to buy fast food for dinner. When I contacted Walmart to complain they were hardly convincing they cared. Never again. I recommend shopping elsewhere, some place that appreciates your business. read more

Rib mountain Walmart in Wausau wi parking lot, is not in the best shape they never repair it. How did US fix the potholes for temporary early and do nothing about major work and don't care about customers cars or anything so please do not go to Walmart and boycott them and show them that they need to work on the parking lot like the rest the stores did in that area. read more

What can I say? Walmart carries things that I go in for that are a great price. I prefer to check myself out because usually the lines are long and cashiers are slow. I am just happy to have this option to shop here in our town. However, my daughter attended the University of Missouri and I was shocked to see some of the Walmart's there! That is where Sam Walton went to school. The Walmart's there are super nice. The quality of displays, etc are in step with good Targets. Every Walmart varies from city to city. The Wausau location is crowded with products and hard to get two carts down the same aisle. read more

I just want to give a heads up regarding the Grocery Pickup option. If you really really need an item don't do grocery pickup. My order today was short 8 items that were out of stock!! The reason I use this service is that at times I am too ill or in too much pain to go out and shop. I am now short 3 meals due to this shortage. Very upset and disappointed. read more

I'm a Walmart hater but forced myself to go here so I wouldn't have to drive to target. It's a typical Walmart. Shit everywhere, trash cans with lids were missing the lids, uber cheap materials used for their home goods and clothes BUT I found these pina colada Bolis (Mexican popsicles) that are so GD good. I also like both the coconut and German chocolate cakes from the bakery. Now I'll do monthly pickup since I cannot find Bolis anywhere else. read more

I stopped into the Walmart Super-center mainly to get a glimpse of what the local community looked like, picking up a few minor items along the way. The store is huge. It has just about everything you could ever need under one roof. It was the foot traffic that surprised me more than anything. There was a steady stream of people coming and going through all of the entry ways. Accompanied by a steady stream of staff shuffling carts, mopping floors, moving snow, and helping customers. Definitely a very lively place. The isles had been well stocked but had clearly been picked over the droves of customers. Despite the hoards of people, I was able to navigate the store and move through the checkout lines relatively fast, all things considered. No real reason to not go back if I lived in the area. read more

I own my own craft business and occasionally check out what Walmart offers in the way of fabric and notions. Stopped in recently 3/15/2019 and was checking out these notions when a clerk who was working in this department came and asked if she could help ... said, "no was just checking things out". She than proceeded to actually rudely stepped right in front of me as I was checking over the buttons etc. and and went about her business of doing her cataloging. I couldn't believe that her business took precedence over the fact that I might have found something to purchase. With that, I went and checked out figuring Walmart didn't need any more of my $$$. read more

Although I am a HUGE fan of Wal-Mart, this store is not too clean but it's spacious and doesn't make it feel like I'm going to get run over by someone and their cart! The parking lot, on the other hand is a little confusing, especially when you first drive in. You don't really know what lane you need to be in to go straight or turn right. Most prices are cheap, think that is why they are so busy most of the time. Hint: around 7:00 to 7:30 am on a weekday seems to not be as crowded. One thing I prefer is when they used to hand you the cart and greet you when walking in. This no longer is the case. Some days carts are hard to get. Most of the cashiers seem friendly. Piece of advice tho for the girl with pink on her glasses... When you cashier, don't touch your lips at all... reason being is... it is easy to get sick that way, if you had a sick customer that just gave you money and you touch your lips after that you probably will get sick. They may want to go over this standard with their associates. They also have blockbuster movie machines if you want to rent a movie and a subway inside the store. read more

If I could give this location a - I would. They offer money back at the cashier stations when you pay with a debit card. But what they don't tell you is that you have to wait 1/2 hour to get that money because they don't keep more than $40 in their registers! If you can't give the money at the time of the transaction don't offer it! read more
