2026 Kia K5 GT-Line w/Red interior

I had an amazing experience at Clay Cooley Kia! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The entire buying process was smooth, transparent, and much less stressful than I expected. A huge thank you to my salesperson, Kimmy. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer every question I had. He made sure I found the perfect car for me a 2026 Kia K5 GT-Line with red leather seats and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. He never made me feel pressured and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. The entire team made buying my new car an exciting and enjoyable experience. If you're looking for excellent customer service and a dealership that truly takes care of its customers, I highly recommend Clay Cooley Kia. Be sure to ask for Kimmy, you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately, 1-star is as low as it goes, so they get that one by default. Can't tell you about the buying process because we never made it that far. Found a car in their online inventory that looked promising, and requested info. Got a text right back telling me it was available. Set up an appt w/ confirmation message the next morning. While on the way to the dealer, sent a message to ensure that the car we inquired about was still available and told them that was the only car that we were interested in. We were told the car was indeed available and it would be pulled out front and ready to test drive. When we arrived, it was not. Surprise, surprise. The salesman looked it up, and then told us that it had just been taken to another lot. He said he would see if he could get it pulled back over, and walked away. He came back with some grimy looking salesman in a gold chain and shook his head to let us know it was gone. We had already made it clear we were not interested in any other vehicles, but grimy with the perm tried to schmooze us anyway. We obviously weren't having it and he called us rude as we walked away, as if baiting someone into a dealership under false pretenses isn't rude. Waste of time and gas. Proceed at your own risk, but know that the 2017 RAV4 SE in Barcelona red with 77k miles is not available and still posted. Update: Not only is it still up, but the dealership is still responding to inquiries for this car as of now, 10 hours later, saying it is available and asking to make an appointment to come see it . The luring of customers under false pretenses is fraudulent and illegal.

Damaged rim
Bob C.

I purchased a used Kia Forte on 8 February 2025, in active duty Army going on 19 years and had just previously returned from an overseas deployment. On my way back from purchasing the car I stopped to let some air out of the tires because the PSI was almost at the max, I noticed the damage to the rims on the passenger side and focused I would address it to the dealership the following Monday since my kids where waiting on me at home. I've reached out to them twice already and keep being told there's nothing they can do, the manager even said that it was considered in the pricing but it was never brought up or shown to me prior to the purchase. This is obvious physical damage that is on the car that the dealership did not disclose.

Very Disappointing Customer Service at the Parts Department…read more I have a commercial account with Mazda of Irving, and unfortunately, my experience with the parts department has been extremely disappointing because of the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the employees. I purchased a part, and the same employee recommended that I buy an additional part to address a specific OBD-II trouble code. He told me that if the extra part was not needed, I could return it. When I came back the next morning to return the unused part, his attitude was completely different. He gave me an unfriendly look and seemed determined to find a reason to reject the return. First, he inspected the packaging and the part, apparently looking for a reason to refuse it. When he couldn't find an issue, he demanded the receipt, even though the purchase was made under my commercial account and the invoice was available in their system. I explained that it was the most recent invoice and that the purchase should be traceable through my account. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he became argumentative and told me he would not process the return on Monday, when no manager would be available for me to speak with about my complaint. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I experienced rude behavior from this same employee. Similar incidents have happened in the past, but I chose to ignore them. This time, however, the repeated behavior has become unacceptable. The way I was treated made me question whether I was being treated differently because of my background. I cannot say for certain that racism was the reason, but the repeated disrespectful treatment has left me seriously concerned. As a commercial customer, I expect professional, respectful service and fair treatment, especially when following the return process recommended by the employee himself. I hope management takes this complaint seriously, reviews the situation, and provides better customer service training to ensure other customers do not have the same experience. I would not recommend the parts department based on my experience unless management addresses these customer service issues.

Closings are often long, Reza has it done, in and out no waiting that you get at the dealerships. Before I left he wanted to make sure I was ok and we checked the lights, what dealership does that. I like honest car sales people…read more And from our latest car buying excursion, we continue to find them rare. For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. If you come across a clean, unmolested 1990 to 1993 Mustang convertible, give me a call!

The day I said I'd had enough, his position was still that I could go to the DMV myself or wait another three weeks. Dismissive from start to finish. On 8/27 I showed up in person with the lender's paid-in-full letter. Only then did they hand over my check -- dated 7/27, two days after the sale. It existed nearly the whole time they were telling me they couldn't pay. The car had already been resold. (Keep-or-cut sentence:) Nothing in the bill of sale I signed conditions payment on the title. The experience was smooth and he is very knowledgeable about every car he purchases and sells. He insured me that all my request would be completed which included ordering a 2nd pair of keys and detailing the vehicle. Kamiar also insisted on helping me search for competitive prices on maintenance and tuneups to make sure my car lasted a lifetime. PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING…read more This is long overdue. I tried not leaving this review, but the public has to know. I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.
