I'm so glad they did- she talked us through options, as what my husband wanted and what I wanted weren't exactly the same, but she helped us find a happy medium. I recently purchased a home and wanted to get shelves in my mud room, basement, bathroom and closets, one of the reps Kelly McNeil came out to my house and measured everything and asked what we wanted, she made sure it was exactly what we wanted, colors, schemes, designs and pricing...she scheduled the install very quickly and the crew came out and installed. The crew were awesome, respectful and clean and completed the project the same day and I especially want to mention (Tanner) what an amazing young man, so respectful and genuine and he really made sure that everything was perfect. A few months later I noticed that on one of the shelves it was installed a bit too low and I called and asked if they could raise it, Kelly checked with management and advised that would not be a problem and sent the crew out literally the next day and fixed the problem. We just built our dream home, and the first to-do item on my list was to get my master closet professionally done. I researched four businesses -- California Closets, Closets by Design, Closet Factory, and Classy Closets -- before making a final decision. Don't be scared off by the lack of a showroom -- that means no overhead cost of which the savings gets passed on to you (yes, they do have actual samples that they bring to you during the design process so you know first-hand what you are getting). I worked with Jody who was extremely patient with me as I had three design ideas I wanted priced out. She was able to accentuate my ideas better than I could have done myself. I really wanted every inch of the closet space to be efficient and functional. We met at the house a few times as it was being built to tweak out the details of the final product. Again, Jody exhibited a ton of patience with me as this was something I had been dreaming about forever and wanted it to be perfect. The closet is an L-shape which I thought would be a challenge design-wise, but Jody proved up to the task. Once the final design was agreed upon, a 50% deposit was done. Fast forward a few weeks later, and the closet was installed. It took two half-days to complete. The installers (Joel and Jose) were extremely conscientious and placed a tarp walkway in the house, vacuumed the carpet, etc. I cannot express how pleased I am with the final product. Honestly, despite how much I love my closet now, the most impressive part of this process was how smooth everything went -- everyone was on time all the time and never made "promises" (especially regarding timelines) that were not met. No "bad surprises". Plus, they didn't need any reminders either. This really reduced a lot of stress throughout the process for me as I was on a specific timeline. The bonus was that everyone was incredibly nice, too. The final price (as I know you're wondering) -- $7983.00 (just a tip -- the more drawers and glass cabinets you want, the higher the price). My sales associate, Jody was super accommodating working with me over and over with the design. She and I exchanged about 34 emails in 3 days going over the designs and details. After having a weird experience with another local custom closet company, I was worried that they'd all be the same. That was definitely not the case...Classy Closets is a great company to work with. My designer, Coryn, was very sweet and professional, and was able to meet with me at a convenient time. She was also able to very efficiently complete my design appointment, as I was rushing her since I had basically double-booked myself and had to be somewhere soon after our scheduled time. That night, she sent me a really creative closet design that made use of every inch of space. Her background is in interior design, which really showed in her design and knowledge of what would be useful and aesthetically pleasing. In contrast to the other company, Coryn took what I wanted and created a design, instead of telling me what they could provide or what she wanted, and limiting me to that. I decided feeling more organized would be a bonus to my daily life. I collected numerous coupons from local companies and researched them on Yelp. Two companies stood out with the highest ratings and I had bids by both. Jose Romo from Classy Closets was the Designer that came to my home. He was friendly, thorough in what I wanted, offered suggestions and said he would email me full drawings with measurements with his quote. He even took the time to go over another drawing to help me read what I would be receiving. I received very detailed drawings, communicated a couple tweaks with Jose and was very happy with the design. Company B would not share drawings of the design as they were proprietary. I understand this philosophy, but it left me with no visual of how my closets would look. I chose the same product with both companies. And same design. Company B's quote came in more than double of Classy Closets. Needless to say I scheduled with Jose. My installers were Roger and Joseph. They arrived 15 mins early. They were professional and quick and in less than 2 hours my closets looked fantastic. They left them wiped down and vacuumed, ready for me to organize. The shelves and rods are adjustable, and everything comes with a lifetime warranty. Though my job was not a big one, I received great customer service and will highly recommend Classy Closets to anyone looking to organize. read more

We had Jody out for an estimate which went well. We proceeded with Master Closet and Pantry. On the day of install the guys were 3hr late and left early not finishing anything other than demo. They said they would be back the next day to finish and would text pictures. No text or call. Got home and project not completed. Got call late that evening from installer who said Jody needed to reach out to to figure out what was happening but they were not finishing. Jody never called. I emailed her and she responded that they would be there the next day and finish. Wednesday did come and they finished. More pride and care should be taken in customers homes. Wood work was dinged up wherever they went. From Wednesday to Tuesday there was no follow up from anyone from Classy Closets.....no happy with your job? No call from Jody for payment, no nothing. Tuesday evening I noticed they charged by card with no prior approval. Bad Business. Jody reached out to say she was out of town and the "office" must have run the card. No other acknowledgment or care about the job. Quite disappointing. Think twice before using this company. I will be sure to spread the word how awful a company these clowns are. read more

The price was right on, the materials are great, and the design stellar. I had put in the requests for contact first week of Jan. Just got a call from Janet (?) claiming she called me on the 1.18 and emailed me. Did not happen - I checked my phone log on my phone and online - no calls at all on the 18th and no voice mails. Also claimed she emailed me - I routinely check my spam and trash before emptying it and DID NOT get a contact from her either. Interesting her date claim was the day AFTER I wrote a negative review, was done on a holiday and (had it occurred) was 2 weeks after I tried to get a quote. So, even if her claim were true, it was not within the 2 hours stated on their site. And her attitude was not very pleasant, to say the least. Poor product design. This product is great if you want that IKEA look and feel. It is made of particle board, most likely made in China like everything else is these days. the screws to the laundry hamper blew out in the first month of use. When we asked the company to fix it, they said it would cost us more $, made it out to be our fault, etc. Didn't want the fight, fixed it myself, CC misses x2 - product and customer service- but they also miss on the closet in the new house we just bought too. read more
