The dealership recommended him because he does all their work. Although having to have your windshield replaced is never fun, Anthony made it a breeze. I highly recommend A G Auto Glass without reservation.

A VERY large rock hit my windshield in June - I'm lucky to be in one piece. I had a guy replace a…read morewindshield for me a few years back, and called him first. But he's down in Philadelphia and his schedule wasn't great, and it rained for the next 3 days to boot. A first world problem, to be sure, but I couldn't get to work, and it's not like windshields are free. I was frustrated by my circumstances, and even though it felt like a betrayal, I had to call a different shop. I was happy to discover Anthony is in my neighborhood. And even happier he could replace my windshield the following morning. He was on time, friendly -- he even played with my dog, and explained the process to me, which I appreciated. He made the swap in under an hour, and I let it sit, per his instructions, for a few hours, so the glue could dry, and I've been good to go. I would give him 5 stars, but he was the most expensive of all the shops I called. In fact, he was $100 more than my guy in Philadelphia; and he accepts cash only (no checks or cards) - which is fine, but because my car was not roadworthy, I had to walk to a bank (another first world issue, but I'm mentioning in case, like me, you don't live with another driver and/or further from a bank than I do). I don't know a lot about this particular industry, so I have no idea why there would be such a wild fluctuation in pricing among the professionals in the area. The windshield for my 2003 Jetta was just under $300, which is egregious! The other guy quoted me at $197, with labor and tax, but I would have lost more time at work (and the associated pay) if I waited for his schedule to open up. But it was also a massive relief to be able to drive again, so I am grateful for A G Auto Glass; and I totally recommend them, with caveat that the prices are high.

THEY TRIED TO USE DEFECTIVE GLASS FOR MY REPAIR!…read more This review is regarding the windshield repair done by Triple S Auto Glass at Allentown Autobody. I had evident moisture getting into my windshield as a result of a past repair done at Allentown Autobody (done by Triple S). There were actual snowflakes in the corners of the glass. Craig agreed to correct the issue of the moisture getting into the windshield by replacing the windshield. Allentown subcontracts with Triple S Auto Glass. Triple S Auto glass put a defective windshield on as a repair. Upon inspection, Allentown Autobody agreed to correct and replace it. The replacement glass was also defective (making this the 3rd defective glass put on by Triple S). Allentown Autobody told me I have to deal direct with their contractor and gave me their telephone# and contact details. I called and asked for Scott. He said Yea? I said hello this is B**** D***** I just picked up my vehicle from Allentown Autobody this morning and... before I could finish, he said, the white Honda? I said yes. He said yea, so...what's the problem? I told him there was a DENT in the glass as well as exposed glass and gapping; and that Allentown Autobody told me I had to deal directly with him at this point. I asked him where he was and told him I would being the vehicle directly to him so he can see the dent himself and in the mean time I was taking pictures. He said, "are you wearing glasses" I said NO! he then said, "look, that windshield was the best out of the 3 that I got in. I can put the other windshield back on for you". I said, you want to put the previously confirmed defective windshield back on my car as a fix? He said, "yea, or I can put on the original windshield-I still have that one" I said THE ONE WITH THE SNOW FLAKES IN IT!? and he said yea-there was nothing wrong with that one (meaning there was no distortion or chipped glass or bubble/dent). I said, NO. that is unacceptable! -suggesting to use an already agreed upon defective windshield as a correction. So here I now am with a 3rd defective windshield provided by Scott and he has no solution other then putting a previously confirmed defective glass back on my car. I did get the windshield replaced via Safelite. Safelite confirmed that the windshield Triple S Glass put on my car as a repair was not only defective, but they didn't even seal the windshield properly and it would have leaked! Once that windshield came out, Safelite was able to show me where the seal was not meeting the glass. They also showed me that the clips in the cowl were broken (by Triple S Glass). Safelite technician said he has never seen a job so sloppy in the 20+ years he has been repairing glass as a master technician. Triple S Glass got the black gummy material all over my engine. Scott is a jerk!

While he was on site, I'm told how unprofessional he was and the negativity he reflected towards me, the initial caller for service. To add insult to a horrible senario, he charged us a highly unreasonable amount of $850 to replace the gasket, not the window. I am totally discussed with this news that was just brought to our attention 8 months later. I am shocked at his unprofessional behavior.
