It was a three bedroom with living and dinning area about 1000 square feet. He quoted $450 +/- over the phone when he got on site he said he would do it for $438 and said it would take about 2 1/2 hours to complete, the work included cleaning/shampooing all the carpet and cleaning all stains (which were verv small in size). My mother kept a very clean home and the carpet wasn't in bad shape to begin with. Eric said he was finished 1 1/2 hours into the job so I went to look at the work and right away looking to see if the spots/small stains had been removed where we discussed prior to starting and they were still there and not cleaned completely. He did remove rust spots from under the dresser legs in my mother's bedroom that we discussed, but after shampooing rust spots appeared under the coffee table legs in the living room. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with finishing a job earlie if the work is complete and done well, but in this case the worker (Eric) did finnish earlie and the work was definitely not complete. After he left l looked closer to areas of the carpet that didn't look shampooed and they were dry to the touch, they weren't even shampooed. This is why the carpeting didn't have that uniform patterned look to it because it was not completely shampooed. At a cost of $438 dollars divided 1.75 hours (he did come back for 15 minuts to clean some of the spots he missed) that comes to $250.28 per hour! That sounds to me like a great rate, if you can get it do a good job and keep your customers happy. For one more hour of his time he could have done a quality job still put very good money in his pocket and had a happy non complaining customer. 4/30/26

When my rug arrived today on 01/15/2025 it was matted in the center and the stain was still there. I was initially told I would get 28 dollars off and then I spoke with the manager who told me that I told the drivers my rug was matted already before which it was not. I provide a before photo of the center of my rug to show proof. I asked the drivers specifcally would it look more fluffy. My rug was never matted with a huge knot in the center. The company has decided to give me 120 dollar refund via check only instead of just sending it back to my amex card on file. I now have to pay for another rug which is 400 dollars. I wish I never cleaned the rug with the company because now I need to spend 400 dollars and they refuse to given me any money toward another rug after ruining my rug and not even cleaning the stain. The manager notified me he been running this business for 20 years and he not going go back and forth me because I told the drivers it was matted which is was not. The drivers specifically told me the rug look super clean when I explained it didn't. My rug use to be light grey now it almost brown. The driver also spent half the time asking me how I can live in apartment with such big windows rather than trying to understand they ruined my rug. I'm putting the review on google, yelp and BBB complaint. If I do not receive my check by the end of day January 22nd I will be contacting American Express to dispute the transaction as well. My boyfriend came over who seen this rug multiple times before they toke it for the "cleaning" was shocked on how disgusting the rug looked now. Update 10 minutes after review was posted: I spoke with the manager at 1:58pm after he reviewed my review. He stated if I don't remove my review he will not send me a check anymore. I said to him that I put up the review because other should know and I still have to pay for 400 dollar new rug. He explained he could give me 150 and I explained the rug is 400 dollars and 200 would be more sufficient. He notified me I was black mailing him. I explained to him that he black mailing me by trying to force me to remove a review to get a refund for an item they destroyed. He explained he not doing anything for me and that im a lil entitled something then he hung up the phone. I will be contacting American Express given manager has now clarified I will not get a refund because I refuse to remove this review. Response to company comment below. The owner stated I tried to blackmail them. I asked them to provide me my refund and if they offer additional compensation for ruining a 400 dollar rug. They said they can offer me 200 dollars and I would have to sign a legal document to never post a negative review about them and remove this review. I do not feel comfortable signing any legal documents and will be proceeding with going to American Express to have my money refund. I have documentation through text messages AS PROOF of this incase they try re comment that I tried to blackmail them which isn't true. I have attached them. The individuals that work for this company is extremely scary and they try to intimidate you as well as talk down to you. At this point, Idc for the 200 dollars they're paying for me to take down this review I want other people to be warned about this company.
