Quick and easy. No waiting room though so be prepared to sit outside or get a ride if you don't want to wait around. The phone number for the business is actually the owner's mobile phone (talk about direct access). Because there's so much competition, prices here are low and at times, negotiable. Their location is a little tricky as it is located within a car wash. Just drive up to the lane with all of the vacuums and you'll see their store front. There are two bays but no adjacent spots place to wait and park if the bays are occupied. My GF bought a groupon to have my windows tinted at another location, but it was only for the rear five windows. Yes, a bit confusing but just so you know, if you own a 4-door car, then you have 7 windows (those little windows in the back that don't roll down count as windows). I asked a friend who lives in Riverside for a recommendation and he suggested Tint & Detail to have my front windows done. 40 minutes, and $50 later I'm as pleased as can be. 7/5/18 TLDR: Purchased "ceramic" tint for the most competitive price in the area, backed by lifetime warranty by the business. Great service by Erick, no issues so far with the product = would recommend. The owners have two locations. This one is located inside the Quickie's car wash, the other in a smaller shop. I went on a Saturday morning to the second location and it already had about 4 cars ahead of me. Erick gave the option of leaving the car there and would give a call once It's done. He called the car wash location and said there was only one car ahead so I went there with the quote order. They only carry one type of tint which is ceramic (no way of knowing if it really was. Looking through the window with my polarized sunglasses does show a rainbow effect which I've read is indicative of ceramic tint). Experience so far, the UV and heat reduction is very noticeable so I believe I got the real deal! After waiting 2 days for the film to set, I could finally roll down the windows and see the cutting jobs. Overall, the job was good but I would have liked to see the film be closer and consistent along the glass' edge. After giving a thorough cleaning, I found minimal dust in-between the film and glass that it was barely noticeable. I'm happy with this. For the rest of my experience, my car took about 2 hrs but since there were cars ahead of mine I waited close to 6. But if a quality tint job is what I get then I don't mind the wait. After he finished, Erick wiped down any surfaces that may have had soap on it. I gave a 5 because of the competitive price. But a 4 for job quality. read more

I looked at the prior review and figured that this place would know what they're doing since they received 4 stars...from my experience, that was way too generous. 5 star Mr. Tint was booked up and me being impatient I decided to give these guys a call. Octavio answered the phone and said he would be able to fit me in although there was 1 car ahead of me. I went in expecting a wait because there was this car, but I expected it and it was not an issue. They eventually finished the other car and began working on mine. Every seemed to go well, but they did not tint the rear most window in my 2012 Prius because it came with some privacy glass from the factory. I requested that it be tinted so that all the cars would look uniform. They tinted it, and I was on my way. The car sat overnight and the next morning I went out to look at it, to my horror every single pane of glass had dust trapped between the film and the glass. This was not moisture or air bubbles that would go away with time, this was dust that would be permanently trapped and visible. Needless to say, this was quite upsetting so I looked at their work a little closer, what I found was simply ridiculous. Apparently, Octavio had cut the rear most piece of tint a little too small so that it did not cover the full opening of the glass. Instead of scraping the piece of tint and starting anew, they felt that it would be better to cover up the faulty work by literally using a magic marker, sharpie, or some kind of paint to paint over the area that they did not cover. They honestly thought that it would be okay to cover my rear window with a marker or paint without asking me if it was okay for them to "tint" my car in this fashion. Upset, I went back to the shop the next day to give them an opportunity to make it right, essentially to give them the opportunity to remove the paint, do it correctly, and to address all the issues I had with all the other windows. When I pulled up to the shop around 11:30, Octavio was out and an individual who Octavio indicated was his nephew told me that I would need to come back when Octavio was around. The nephew told me that Octavio would be back in about an hour, so I simply told them that I would wait for him to return. Perhaps they did not want me waiting there and possible allowing other customers to see the work that they performed on my car, so immediately after indicating that I would wait, they had me pull my car into the shop and they began to repair the botched job they did in the rear by removing the film and the paint and finding a new scrap piece of film that would cover the area. (Yes, they didn't even want to use new film and spent 15-20 minutes sorting through discards from other vehicles for a piece that would fit. The film was replaced, but I was still able to see dust trapped in between it and the glass. The Nephew did not want to address the other issues I had with their work so I sat back down and again waited for Octavio to return to the shop. When Octavio returned, I told him how disappointed I was in their work especially since I shook his hand believing that he treated me as a respected customer the day before. Octavio attempted to justify the use of paint indicating that it was a very small area and that I was not able to tell...but I was and the painted areas measured 5mm in height and about 3 inches in length each. Octavio was caught, and there was nothing good to say once he knew that now knew what they were chuckling about while they worked on the back of my car. After I showed Octavio the amount of trapped dust in all my windows, he decided that he would not be able to redo the work to my satisfaction because I expected a professional job. Octavio believed that a tint job with absolutely no imperfections does not exist. Octavio suggested that he could tint my car 50 times and not once would he ever be able to perfectly lay a film of tint on a window. Octavio told me that he has been tinting windows for 20 years and no one in the industry would be able to do so either I have had many cars in my 30 years and this is the first time a tinter has ever suggested that bad work is acceptable because it is common. It is sad and disappointing that he feels this way about his craft and I will never return nor would I ever recommend anyone take their vehicle to a shop with this kind of mentality. I gave Octavio the option of making it right and fixing the work but he elected to remove the tint entirely and issue a refund. If you're not picky about having dust trapped in the middle of the glass where it is clearly visible each time you look out the window, then this shop will serve you just fine. If you want a professional who takes pride in their work and seeks to chase perfection as close as possible when working on someone's vehicle, find someone else! read more

Took my car in 2012 and after a few months I notice the window tint starting to bubble. So, I looked at the work carefully and notice that they put the film on without paying attention to detail. If they are promoting over 20 years of experience, you should expect nothing but the best. I went back to the shop to ask for a refund and they said it was too long ago and I should have checked it then. I asked if they can fix it, but they said I would have to wait and then they'll look at it. I was strapped with time, so I left and the next time I drove by, they change there company name to Classic Tint and Detail. My advice is to not do business with these people and take it somewhere else. There are tons of window tint shops that will do a better job and treat you better. Just my two cents! read more
