From start to finish the process of working with Classic Tile was top-notch. The communication with sales (Kim) was amazing. We were looking for a stone top to replace the wood top for a built-in desk. My wife and I had a specific material (Desert Wind Quartz) in mind. Kim found the piece but it was literally one inch short. She later surprised us when she had the warehouse pull the stone and remeasure. Luckily for us it was just long enough. The fabricator (Gio) installed the stone into a niche with 3 walls where the walls were not plumb. It was impossible to install without damaging the walls. Gio proactively told me he'd repair the walls and repaint. He did as exactly as he said and we love our new addition to the study! One of the owners (Claudio) even stopped by and he was just as kind/detailed/impressive as the rest of his team. We'd absolutely use Classic Tile for future projects. Thank you! read more

The master bathroom in the 1980's house we recently bought came with "all of its original equipment." So we decided to give it a new look. A good friend recommended Classic Tile in Highwood, so we had a consultation with Claudio and Kim in their showroom and told them what we had in mind. They quickly came up with several wall and floor tile ideas, and Claudio recommended a textured tile for the shower that would help prevent slipping. In addition, he told us about the benefits of a Nuheat heated bathroom floor. We wanted to use granite for our counter top, tub deck, and shower curb, and Claudio helped us select the perfect piece. Classic Tile's fabricators did a great job of cutting and shaping the granite for a perfect fit in every place where it was used. Kim and Claudio were were knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful in answering all of our questions, and the Classic Tile installers were professional and very careful about cleaning up after each day's work. Our new bathroom looks great! It's brighter and has a happier feel, and the heated floor is wonderful on cold winter mornings! Good selection of tiles, experienced, knowledgeable staff and let me tell you - phenomenal quality of work! I had a few tile projects done in my house - all of them by the Classic Tile. I was always able to find the tile I wanted and after all was said and done I was very happy with the results. The quality of work of their installers is beyond reproach - pure perfection. You can take any kind of tools to try to find the slightest imperfection and you won't. The tiles are laid out with perfect angles, distances, gaps, corners, cut perfectly around drains, columns, vents and I could go on and on. They know their stuff like a true seasoned professionals. I wish all of the pros that work on our houses had this level of knowledge and experience. Why not five stars? Well, they are a bit on the expensive side, and after visiting the Tile Shop their selection seems now puny. However, my next tiling project is going to be like this: I will find my tile at the Tile Shop - ask them if they can get it for me - if they can (for the same price) - great, done deal. If not I will buy it at the Tile Shop but I will still have them do the installation. I am not taking any chances - can not beat the perfection. read more

We were first referred to Classic Tile from a friend a few years ago when we needed our master bath vanity refinished before we put our previous townhome on the market. They did such an amazing job diamond-honing and polishing the vanity that we did not use the master bath again until after the home was under contract. We then bought a new townhome in need of much work. We contacted Claudio at Classic Tile to replace the tile floors in the master bath, guest bath, foyer and powder room, replace a vanity top in the guest bath and diamond-hone and polish two vanity tops in the master bath. He came to our home and walked through everything with us, taking pictures and making suggestions - he even suggested we keep the tiles in our foyer and powder room and just have them diamond-honed and polished because they were such high quality (which we did). He later meet with us after work at their showroom and again spent all the time we needed helping us pick out tiles, grout and the vanity top. He is a very nice and very patient man and just an overall great guy. And coordinating everything with Kim was easy and a pleasure as well. Once the work began, Giovanni and his team proved to be amazing craftsman - perfectionists like myself. He even replaced a shower curtain rod and two towel racks for us (that had nothing to do with Classic Tile) since we were worried about cracking the existing shower tiles if we did it ourselves. And he removed old stone baseboards in our powder room and replaced them with new wood baseboards. Once again we are amazed at the result of their work. Given the amount of work we had done, I didn't feel the cost was at all unreasonable. I cannot imagine working with anyone other than Classic Tile and am eternally grateful to the friend that referred us. read more

It was a big 2 bathroom project but their salespeople were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, which made the entire process painless. The store is clean, well-organized and easy to access. They have a huge selection of stone, marble, ceramic and porcelain tiles - almost too much too choose from, but the displays gave me some great ideas. Most importantly, the in-home workers were very professional and friendly and knew what they were doing. Everything from floor tile, to the vanity tops to the ceiling was perfect.
