This coffee is as good as it gets! I had the Sister Hazelnut and the minute it hit my taste buds I knew I was going to take my time sipping it because I wanted to savor every drop of it. Update, I called and talked to Kent the owner about our recent visit. He was very humble and wanted all of our issues corrected immediately. Fantastic customer service, especially for an owner you don't get that now a days. I was also informed there are two other sets of restrooms. Strictly because of their care of customer service "and coffees" I will be back, and can truly recommend that if you have any issues to call HQ. 5 stars for customer service, and coffee alone! This place is so cool! great atmosphere for meetings (working meetings rather than formal), friends, couples, on your own, families, whatever! Love the ambiance and the music is spot on. Everyone is so friendly and kind and the space is so big! Avocado toast was great for the price and the latte was good. It was hard to find though, it's in the building behind the gas station. Went in here expecting to have a good 1/2 hr to an hour to sit, relax, and get some work done, but ended up having to leave earlier to pick up a friend. None-the-less I had a great experience! Caffeine doesnt really affect me. No, seriously, I can usually drink a cup of coffee and immediately take a nap. So imagine my surprise when I visit this coffee shop for the first time and have a drink that I am still feeling hyper from, 3 hours later. I feel like I could run a 5k. I had an Americano with Atomic Punk Espresso in it, which may or may not be laced with speed. It tasted smooth and rich and was served in a cute and huge cup. This coffee shop is awesome. Classic Rock is unlike any other coffee shop out there; it has a vibe all its own. If you are a coffee fan, and especially if you are a coffee geek, you do not want to miss this place. They offer a wide range of drinks and a small selection of food and pastries. If you are a coffee purist, they have you covered. Their house roasts are all fantastic if you're the type to take your coffee black. Want to geek out? Get one of their single origin pour overs and stay awhile. You can get lost in the complexity of a cup like that. Fan of the classics? They can do just about anything, from an Americano to a Macchiato to a Cortado. Starbucks regulars, don't fret: they have a great list of flavored lattes here too, served any way you like. We love their Raspberry Beret the best, served hot and sipped slowly there out of an oversize mug. Take a book, it's a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon. Also great is the Coke-cane, a mix of espresso and Mexican coca-cola that should not be missed. It is powerful stuff though. But wait... There's more! On top of having a great vibe and any kind of coffee drink you can imagine, they also offer baked goods, sandwiches, oatmeal, protein shakes, and myriad other options. They also carry a good selection of coffee brewing items like V-60s and chemex, grinders, cold brew setups, and more for the serious home coffee geek. Their product artwork is great and they have t-shirts for sale there, as well as all of their roasts and single origins for sale. What a load of hype... Came here looking for something a little different, found instead a confused shell not sure if it wants to be a cafe, a bar, a music venue, a chain restaurant, or a theme park gift shop. Ok so the ambience isn't great, but the coffee? The menu didn't leave me expecting much, the vast majority of the options being specialty flavored drinks, but I ordered a soy latte, and opted for the upgrade to single origin expresso. Just shy of seven dollars later, I was handed a vibrating plastic alerter, similar to what you might get at Chili's to let you know when your table is ready, but this was to let me know my latte was finished. It took them a reasonable amount of time to get my drink ready, but when I went up to the bar I found the saddest latte ever. The surface looked almost like chocolate pudding, and the layer of foam had a thick, unpleasant and sticky consistency. Underneath, the milk was extremely watery and not enjoyable to drink. The taste itself was underwhelming. I'd like to say I'll come back, but staring at the generous portion of the store devoted to selling branded t-shirts, mugs, and other kitsch, I know I won't. For coffee shops I have visited in Springfield I give this one five stars! I got a Sweet Emotion (chocolate and carmel) frappe, my mother got a Raspberry Beret (white chocolate and raspberry) latte and my son got a Blueberry Bomb (blueberries and apple juice) smoothie. We were all pleased! I had to finish my sons smoothie and I was more than happy to do so! Like all coffee shops it is a little pricey, but no more than any other. My son loved the atmosphere! I think what I like about Classic Rock Coffee is that it's NOT like other coffee places in town or in most other cities of our size. Yes, there are things that keep me from visiting often - its neither here-nor-there location, its admittedly loud music, and its lack of outlets - but there are plenty of things about it that are not only impressive, but super unique. CRC offers coffee items from genuine pour-overs to super-sweet frappes and iced coffees, which is all great and caters to a lot of palettes, but what I truly like is the food. I've consistently ordered their mushroom soup here with pita chips as a side, and each time I think to myself, "Am I really enjoying quality mushroom soup in a loud-as-hell, neon-lit rock joint?" Yes. Yes I am. I also adore their chocolate chip cookies. Other menu items include protein-stuffed smoothies and miscellaneous baked items. I think one of my favorite things about CRC may also be its downfall - its atmosphere. It's almost exclusively (albeit dimly) lit by neon lights or blacklights, and its overhead music is a few decibels above average, which makes it a little hard to focus on homework or projects. That being said, I think this is a great place to come to catch up with a friend, especially if he or she loves music, because the opportunity to fall in love with music you've never heard before is strong. However, if you've got a final to cram for, I'd probably stick with something more traditionally somber. Personally, I love the incredible devotion to music here, but I'll be eternally confused by the fact that the television's rotating profiles of famous bands and artists don't match up with what's currently playing. I want to listen AND learn, dangit! Also, I came here a few weeks ago with friends and noticed they're about to open an insanely big shop extension with a giant stage. I cannot even begin to describe how DISGUSTED I am with this place. I went in yesterday, around 4:30 in the afternoon to sit with my son and I ordered a Dr. Pepper, and it had BUGS all around the rim of the soda can. BUGS. I didn't notice it until I opened my drink and as I was taking a sip, one fell out on the table right in front of me. This was the most repulsive thing I've ever experienced anywhere! Great spot, excellent coffee in a very different setting than most coffee houses and though I prefer the traditional I can't help but give this place 5 stars. The coffee is very good, the staff is extremely friendly and like I said the atmosphere is eclectic as you feel like you're enjoying your fresh brew inside a concert venue...which you are! They roast their own coffees (you can watch) and of course sell beans. We had our son's high school graduation party in the Roasting Room and let me tell you... it was SOOOO AMAZING!! They opened up the garage doors into the roasting room to allow for more space and it worked out so perfectly. Madison and her team was there step--by-step thru the whole process making sure everything was covered and no detail was left unattended. It was a fun, relaxing and totally stress-free! I was able to enjoy all of our guests that attended and not worry about anything. A rare weekend without the kids, so my wife and I decided to go check this place out. My wife had the blended cinnamon girl and a blueberry muffin, and I had the mocha choca latte hot and a cinnamon roll. With the tip, our bill was only 22.00, so they are fair priced. We enjoyed our drinks and our pastries very much, and I can guarantee they just earned some repeat business. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even offered my wife a free Chai latte that they incorrectly made hot instead of iced, which she loved. Love the music and deco, and love the comfy leather sofas we sat on. Looking forward to coming back again. I definitely recommend this place. We'll worth it. read more

Classic rock coffee is my favorite coffee shop in town. Their coffee is smooth, great quality, and a rich taste. I love their Sweet Emotion Frappuccino which is mocha and caramel, then I will add coconut flavor to it too. It tastes awesome! Their customer service is fantastic. They are so friendly and accomodating. There is great food too. I have ordered their pineapple pig which is a ham and cheese pannini with grilled pineapple and a sauce in between. Comes with chips and a pickle. Delicious! We used to come to Classic Rock weekly for a small group study and that would be my weekly go-to. Finally the atmosphere. This is the coolest place to go for any music lover. Albums and instruments line the walls, music equipment, lighting setups, and drums as end tables. Blacklight bathrooms with graffiti painting, board games set up for anyone to play, and the back room is set up as a stage for musical gigs and events. They host events often and even will host charity events, open mic nights, and concerts. They have doors to close off this section too to help mute the sound from the rest of the shop if needed. They play great classic music, but not too loud to where you can't carry on a converation. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I've always lived within an hour of Springfield, but I didn't discover this place until friends brought me here, and didn't start loving it until I started working close by. I love my quiet, quaint atmosphere coffee shops, but I'm also a fan of the unique. But first, the coffee. Classic Rock Coffee's drinks are better than Starbucks. Hands down. They do their own roasting and grinding, and have a unique menu of flavored lattes, shakes, and smoothies. I haven't tried everything, but I haven't had anything here that wasn't delicious. The Raspberry Beret latte is one of my personal favorites. Classic Rock also has food on the menu, and it is amazing too. Try the War Pig breakfast sandwich - it's got smoked ham, smoked bacon, egg and American cheese on a ciabatta bun. It's everything I love about a breakfast sandwich, but not super greasy and heavy on my stomach. Classic Rock has managed to create a coffee shop that makes you feel like you're getting a rock and roll concert experience without the sound system being deafening. Drums are used as tables; the couches, booths and chairs are comfy. I can still get work done if I have downtime here without much trouble. Plus, the staff is super friendly, are great at mixing your coffee drink, and always say 'hi' and 'bye' when you walk in or out the door. If you haven't given Classic Rock a try, I definitely recommend it. read more

Really like their atmosphere and coffee. It's a nice place to hang on a date if you're not wanting to go drink alcohol every time you go out, although they do have alcohol in the band area. Not impressed with the bands they have had when we've been there. Wish it was more diverse and not mainly blues or classic rock (haha..).
