The reason is it cost $$ to have it shipped faster. Would have been glad to pay for faster delivery. Also beware if they first start the phone conversation with the age of your unit or water heater, they will always try and sell you a new unit. Wish I knew this before.

He replaced the old hardware with new. The flush mechanism has functioned perfectly since. I have not had professional plumber service in a few years so the charge was more than I expected. I paid him and that was the end. I would be ok suggesting Franklin Pluming to a neighbor or friend.
