I requested that the Refrigerant line and drain line run parallel, so I could encapsulate them with solid plastic drain gutter, being that I expressed my concerns about any moisture under our Pier and Beam home. Still, they didn't do that, after replacing the wrong unit they installed. And there wasn't a pea trap installed either. The installation of the air handler was a horrible job, flashing sticking out, away from the new system. Yes, Brad seems very attentive. Each time he has been here, there is always a new fresh face. That says a lot about a company. What thru me, is that he's sending me an email to rate what they screwed up with a review? Don't take my word for it, check it out, when upgrading AC tonnage, what tests are needed before and after installation. Brad also said that, there is Moisture around the insulated Refrigerant line? Not only all inside the insulation of the Refrigerant line, but also the water drain line. For a pier and beam house, that's too much moisture!

Immediately after the repair, the unit began leaking a significant amount of water from the air handler that it had never leaked before. They came out and blew out the primary drain but the problem persists. We've contacted the company multiple times over the past several weeks asking them to come back and inspect their work, but they have repeatedly failed to do so. This is the 1 star review I will be leaving for the ac company At this point, we're left with a bucket collecting water every day while waiting for someone to honor their repair. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to stand behind your work and leaving a customer with an unresolved issue is unacceptable. They have consistently been dodging our calls and requests for them to come remedy this issue. I can't recommend a company that won't return to address a problem that started immediately after their own repair.

Last evening, the ac stopped cooling; the fan was running but the compressor would not come on. I read about York AC online and was impressed by the reviews. Today, a Saturday BTW, we called and they kindly agreed to send someone to look at our system. Early afternoon, a wonderful tech named Brad worked us into his busy day and came out to see what was wrong. In just a few minutes, he found that two terminals had burned out in the compressor. He replaced those and our home is now cool again. This is an honest and upright company, and they have our business for life. Tech came out around 11 am and worked until around 3 pm. Cost me over 2000 dollars. 4 hours after he left, the ac froze up and quit working again. After an hour and having received no phone call, I called back. I called all the plumbers in the phone book and they all could not arrive to fix my broken pipe for another week. This company was very busy also, but they agreed to fix my pipe the same day.
