I was in and out in under an hour. The guys were polite and all business and didn't try to push additional services I didn't need. They did advise me that I'd probably need brake service done in a few months, but told me what to look for.

This is a late review from 2 weeks ago, was waiting to make sure the car was working as perfectly…read morebefore leaving a review. Let me start off by saying if you want honest, good work done on your car for an extremely fair pricing this is the place to go. After being told by the Mercedes dealers that nothing could be done to fix my car, that I should simply abandon and upgrade, I was panicking. Newly graduated and currently trying to pass my boards I was in a bind. My car had been hit where the trunk had been dented in. Due to that, rain kept leaking into the trunk and shorting my battery causing my car to die. I actually stumbled onto this autoshop by accident while driving around with my friends. I called, asked if they had time to look at my car. A worker told me to come in so he can take a look so I jumpstarted my car and brought it in. After inspecting my car he fixed where the water was leaking in and then went one step further. He said our battery was shot even though we had replaced it in the summer. He looked up the type of battery, offered a price cheaper than the dealership and had it installed. After a handful of thunderstorms and no leaks I am happy to say my car is back up and running smoothly. Thank you to A-1 for being honest guys who really saved me. I highly recommend to anyone needing auto repair.

I was referred to him by a stranger who chatted me up at a tire shop and wanted to buy my car. He specialized in buying and selling older 911s. Having a good mechanic is really important to me. Tim constantly surprises me with how easily and affordably he keeps our family on the road. I made an appointment with them and dropped my vehicle off at 7 AM. They gate was still closed, so…read moreI left a typed note explaining that I wanted an HVAC diagnostic because the system motor was working, but it wasn't blowing either hot or cold air. I added that the actuator was moving and the heater hose was getting hot, but the air coming through on any setting was neither hot nor cold. So I wanted a diagnostic to figure out what was wrong. I also wrote that on their envelope before dropping my key in their box. Their lot was so packed, I had to park in an overflow lot across the street. By 11 AM, I hadn't heard from them, so I decided to give them a call to make sure they found my vehicle in the overflow lot and to confirm my notes. I called them 14 times between 11 AM and 3 PM and there was never an answer. Their voicemail message said to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hours. But I didn't have 24 hours. I needed my vehicle back the same day. I called an Uber to take me back there after 3 PM to find out what was going on and that's when I finally got a call. But I was already less than a block away. When I went in, they said they were calling to tell me exactly what I told them in my notes and when I made the appointment, that the AC wasn't working and they wanted to know if I wanted them to run a diagnostic. After 8 hours, they did nothing to my vehicle other than turn on the heat and AC and only told me it had the very same problem that I brought it in to have them diagnose. According to them, the appointment was just a placeholder and did not impact when vehicles are serviced, which defeats the entire point of an appointment. They said I should have told them if I needed my vehicle the same day, even though nobody was there when I dropped it off and nobody was answering the phones. As for the phone calls, they said they only had 1 person answering 5 lines and that's why none of my 14 calls over 8 hours were answered, and it was my responsibility to leave a message ... in spite of the fact that their voicemail said it could take them 24 hours to respond. I've been here before and the service was much better than it was today. Those days, I'd give them 5 stars. But the absolute minimum I need for someone servicing my vehicles is that they have someone to answer at least 1 of 14 phone calls, and that they pay attention to the reason I dropped my vehicle off in the first place.
