My car was drivable when I brought it in. After he worked on it, it was left undrivable, with parts unplugged, engine bars removed, and key components missing. When I took it to another mechanic, I showed them the receipts and parts I had purchased for the repair. The new mechanic pointed out that some of the old parts were still on the car meaning the new parts I paid for were never installed. That raised serious concerns: Did Linton keep the new parts for personal use and just take the money? I asked for a refund, and he only gave back $400 despite doing no real work and leaving my car in worse condition. I lost $1,100 and had to pay another shop to replace my engine properly. As a teacher with no second income, this was financially and emotionally devastating. I trusted him because he worked in a shop but that trust was a costly mistake. Please get a second opinion if you've had work done by Linton or plan to. I'm now requesting the remaining $1,100 refund, which is more than fair considering the damage and dishonesty. Don't let this happen to you.

I bought a used car six months ago and now my car has started to show issues. I've watched…read morenumerous YouTube videos, and I decided I'm ready to try out some DIY auto repair, but I'm hesitant about using jacks and jack stands and having the car fall on me. Or what if I get stuck on a particular part in the process halfway thru the repair, and I'm now in limbo without being able to finish the repair. In comes Matt and his place (U Wrench It). For a reasonable price, you get access to his lifts, tools, and knowledge/experience. I went in to do an oil change and tranny fluid change, and Matt was helpful in assisting when using equipment and undoing bolts that were difficult for me to remove. Overall, Matt was very nice and personable. I really like his concept of allowing people to be empowered to learn how to repair their own vehicles while charging very reasonable prices.
