A few times they were decent but literally my nails would always break/crack or the polish would chip/ peel off. It was such an inconvenience to go back to them a day or just days after my nails were done. Also, I was charged for the nail repair every time even if it was the next day! My last experience at this nail salon was the worst by far treatment I have ever received at any nail salon in my life! I went in for a fill-in and requested for that he added a thicker layer over my nails that he had filed so thinly the last visit! He then refused and said, "I don't trust him" which I responded , "That it's not about trust. I am going on vacation to Italy tomorrow and the fact that the last several times I had gotten service, my nails have broken the next day. I don't want this to happen again, it's about customer service." He then refused and told me that he would no longer complete my nails and to have a nice vacation. I was completed stunned and humiliated in front of the entire salon but I left with class. Save yourself the time and find a nail salon in Bangor. It's so worth the drive and customer service!

Alexis gave me an appointment on the phone, and my experience was very relaxing and convivial. Spa is very clean, and Alexis does pedicures and facials. Extremely Disappointed -- Poor Quality and Lack of Proper Technique…read more I visited this salon to have a previous set of acrylics removed and a new full set applied. I paid $90 for the service, expecting a professional experience, but unfortunately, the quality was severely lacking. During the appointment, I noticed the nail tips repeatedly popping off while being glued on. I expressed my concern to the technician and asked if this would affect how well the acrylics held up. He assured me it would not -- but that turned out to be completely false. Within two days, my right index finger nail broke off entirely. Within a week, two more nails had detached. All of the remaining nails have started lifting at the tips, which is unacceptable and indicates poor prep work. It was clear that proper technique and hygiene were not followed: My nails were not cleaned with alcohol before application. Dust from filing was not removed. No prep work was done to ensure good adhesion of the acrylic. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for basic nail prep is extremely unprofessional. I ultimately had to go to a different salon to have my broken right index nail fixed just two days after it was done. I will now need to return again to have the entire set removed and redone properly -- at my own additional expense. I will not be returning to this salon, and I do not recommend it to anyone looking for long-lasting or professionally applied acrylics. I would leave a 0 start review if I could.
