I immediately went to find a handyman on Yelp. One of the best experiences I've ever had!!! Gus responded immediately to my message and we made an appointment for Friday afternoon after normal hours. Gus texted me that he was running a few minutes late but arrived shortly. He did the job quickly and efficiently, charged a normal fee and was willing to return to do more work on Monday. Could not have asked for a better experience!!! Will turn to Yelp more often. Susan

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I dropped off three coats, including a tan and an…read moreoff-white cashmere coat, and specifically noted the underarm areas for deodorizing. Henrry placed stickers to mark those spots. When I picked them up, two coats had small tears in the lining near the armpits, and the off-white coat had visible stains that were not there before (see photos showing the tears and stains after pickup). When I raised the issue, Henrry denied placing the stickers and causing the stains but he did not deny causing the tears in the lining. My husband, who was with me at drop-off and pickup, confirmed Henry added stickers. When I suggested checking security footage, Henry became aggressive, accused me of lying, made an inappropriate comment about my husband, seemingly trying to pit us against each other, and then he kicked us out the store. Another dry cleaner confirmed that sweat or deodorant residue can oxidize if not properly treated, which could explain how the stains appeared. I've used dry cleaners for over 20 years and have never experienced damaged garments or hostile treatment like this. I would not recommend this dry cleaner.

I spent a lot of time researching appliance repair professionals and decided on Master Service…read moreAppliance Repair. Making the appointment was easy and a call from the technician ten minutes before his arrival was appreciated. Rami was courteous, efficient, and went straight to work on our Kitchen Aid dishwasher. He tested various parts of the dishwasher and told us the problem was the control board. We knew the machine was more than a decade old, so when he told us the part to be replaced was discontinued, and even if it was available it was a costly part, he was honest and said the best option would be to buy a new dishwasher and gave us his personal recommendations, which are important since he does appliance repairs and knows about reliability, durability, and repairability. The reviews are true, Master Service Appliance Repair is the real deal. In a time when it's hard to find competent technicians who are efficient and honest and know what they're doing, Rami is a standout.

However, NNJ Handyman Group was the only company that provided a good quote for both options. I ultimately chose NNJ Handyman Group, and I'm very glad I did. Ramon delivered outstanding work--he didn't just replace the entire exterior framing, he also waterproofed and insulated the windows before reframing them, which shows the level of care he puts into every detail. I was so impressed with his workmanship that I hired him on the spot for two additional projects. He completed both with the same professionalism and skill, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled handyman, I highly recommend Ramon from NNJ Handyman Group. You won't be disappointed.

Well, finally, they were doing damage to my house, and I had to up the game. On a friend's recommendation, I called Kevin at Knock'em Dead. And the friend recommended right. He was friendly, informative, threw in a free inspection to see if they had done any serious damage, gave good advice, and the fees he charged matched what I thought would be reasonable fees (essentially, just low enough to make it worth my while to hire him rather than try to do it myself). They came promptly to get the trapped animals, and I haven't seen any sign of groundhogs since. As a bonus, they're experienced animal handlers, which means that if you get an unexpected animal (like, say, a skunk) in your trap, you have someone who can safely let them out. Strongly recommended!
