I love the card system and I love the factThat the machines are always working and in tiptop order. The one in Emerson has been there for many years, the one in Rutherford is new, the place is only new once :-) I have a hair salon so I need a location that will allow me to dry my towels because my towels need to be crisp and clean and sonic suds keeps my towels just the way I like them. I put a new card at the new location so I'm not sure if the cards are interchangeable. The Decor is very similar to Emerson and Lodi so I'm sure it's the same owner?

There's not much room to move around in here due to the bags and piles of drop off laundry. The machines for the customers are old Maytags. They have no double wash or double rinse option. This is a very big deal to those of us with sensitive skin. I had to do a second wash of a quick cycle which was the same price as a regular wash and takes up more time then a simple double rinse would. There are new machines, BUT they all are marked 'attendant only'. So the nicest machines are reserved for the drop off service. Just wow. The attendant asked me to move my laundry bags off the counter right by the machine I was using because she was going to fold clothes there. I'm a paying customer, I shouldn't have had to carry my bags outside. Very rude. I don't like leaving them on top of machines because it can be sticky/dirty. Upon going outside to sit, I found a bench broken to the point metal stuck out and someone could get hurt. One plus is they have a few small top loaders so you can easily do a small load. Basically this place tends mainly to drop off, which should be noted. I've been to many laundromats and have never seen such a large amount of machines reserved for an attendant. Typically I just see them using any available machine. Not the greatest experience.

There aren't many genuine tailors left today. In a world where we want everything fast and…read moreconvenient, many of us fall prey to those so-called "tailors" working out of dry-cleaners. Sabino is a very nice guy who has been in the business since he was a kid in Italy. Moreover, he knows his trade! . I went to him to have a suit jacket I purchased from EXPRESS online tailored. It needed to be taken in at the waist and the sleeves needed to be shortened. The instant he saw it he noticed another manufacturing defect -one sleeve was slightly longer than the other. I had been oblivious to this, but the man knows what to look for. Unfortunately, the sleeves have genuine button holes, making it difficult to adjust the length. In no time at all, however, Sabino worked his magic. The end result is that I have a perfectly tailored suit that looks like a million bucks. Sleeves + waist came to a total of $73. A good price as far as REAL tailors go. Bottom line. You can go to a dry-cleaner or discount "tailor" and pay less for the job - then throw away the ruined clothes afterward. I highly recommend paying an expert to do the job right - especially with dress clothes. You get what you pay for

I do not fear taking any garment to Mr. Sabino because I know I will be satisfied with the results. When altering dresses or skirts. he does the markings on the garment while you wear it, using a tool. This is great because if you have a bit more "back", having it marked while you are wearing it ensures the end result will fall on your body evenly. Another favorite about dropping things off here for alterations is that I can get quick alterations when needed.

I do not agree that he did it to attract customers. Just like the purpose of our life is not to make more money, that is not the purpose of his life either. I brought a coat there to have the buttons reinforced and they did a terrible job. Within a week, they were loose again. I had to bring it elsewhere for the job to be done right. Shouldn't coat thread be used on a coat? Yes, that's what I thought. And for $20? Come on now. I also brought a king size comforter in and asked specifically for it to be washed - not "dry-cleaned". The last time I brought it in to be dry-cleaned, it looked like they didnt even touch it. There was no trace of that dry-clean smell. This time I asked specifically "Can this be WASHED?" and the guy gave me the head-nod and said, "Yes Yes". I got it back over a week later, to the tune of $45, and I am convinced that they (again) just folded it up and put it in a fancy clear bag without doing anything to it. It still smelled like my perfume and there was still mascara in the corner. WTH? You have plenty of viable dry cleaning/tailor options in the area. Keep on driving and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
