I was referred to Peter of London and almost passed out when I found out their eyebrow threading STARTS at $25!! Wait, WHAT? That's the same price as a wash-n-set!!!! So I did my research and discovered this amazing place with one lonely review (Miami, y'all have to start Yelping). The two ladies in the small shop were super sweet and did my bushy, crazy eyebrows to perfection. Now, I have some cray cray brows -- so anyone who can tame these bad boys are truly talented! They charge $10, which is a lot less cheaper than other places I was inquiring about. I went on a Friday around noon and there was about 3 people in front of me. I wasn't waiting longer than 10 mins. A little difficult to find since it's located inside the beauty mall on the 2nd floor of the shopping center. I probably walked around the entire 2nd floor a couple times before I realized where it was located. This was my first threading experience and was a little bit skeptical but quickly felt a little more at ease once I spoke with her. She was super quick and once I saw the final result in the mirror I knew this is it. She got a new customer in me. $10 for brows $6 for upper lip. You cannot go wrong. read more

Great spot in Kendall. The place itself is inside the Beauty Mall its very small with two service chairs so it makes it cozy and quiet. It was my first time here and I told the lady to clean my eyebrows and shape them and she did such an amazing job. I'm extremely happy with the service and will be returning. Bad and rude service!!! Tried to come on two occassions: first time I came 15 minutes before the closing time and the doors were already closed. Second time there were a bunch of people waiting with one girl attending with no customer service skills. I hope more threading places open up so there is not such a demand for a place with such horrible customer service. read more

I needed to do my eyebrows (looking like chewbacca) and I decided to try out this place since it is close to MDC Kendall. Kind of scared because of some other reviews but decided to give it a try because I was in dire need! The shop is actually located inside another beauty shop, called Beauty Mall I think and is very small, 2 chairs. I walked in and asked for a clean up and she said it is $11. So I sat down and she began. She was understanding that it was painful for me and that I needed a moment to wipe my watery eyes (wuss). I greatly appreciated that since the other threading places I've gone to they don't stop unless you ask for a second to get it together which I find inconsiderate. Anyways, she was pretty quick and my eyebrows came out so nice. They are actually changing locations to Country Walk plaza where the publix is. I'm definitely going to keep coming back to Fara (the lady who did my eyebrows)! Ask for Fara if you have any doubts with the other ladies mentioned in this review I guess. Love going to this place !!! They leave my eyebrows looking perfect !! The only reason I'm giving 4 is because it's so quiet inside no talks no back ground music so it's awkward. I would recommend for the management or owner to place some background music I see they have a tv but it's always off so I think having it on will be better then just silence. :) read more

It's my birthday and I wanted to try something new so my sister told me to try threading my brows since I had let them grow out. The younger girl helped me and did the absolute most TERRIBLE job. My eyesbrows are uneven and absolutely HIDEOUS. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever come here again. She didn't even discount the price after I told her how hideous they were. First and Last. I had high hopes because of the ratings, but unfortunately not worth it. I wasn't even asked how I would like my eyebrows, but i did say something before starting. I told them to clean my eyebrows and leave them thick, NOT thin. My eyebrows were left completely uneven and thin. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. These guys are consistently amazing. They are fast, cheap, and friendly and my eyebrows always look great afterwards. I completely trust these ladies to do a great job, which is something I can't say about most places. Oh, and did I mention how cheap they are? 5/5 would reccomend. read more

Downloaded the app just to specifically write a review to warn people about this place. I would give zero stars if I could, I am so upset at the service that I received from this place. Let me explain, I've been to this place about 4 times & the work wasn't done badly the first 3 times. Before I get to my experience the 4th time let me talk about the workers there. When I came to their business for the first time their customer service was very unprofessional, and abhorrent(not exaggerating). They didn't greet me when I walked in, they treated me like I was less of a person, and like I didn't belong there. I've never been treated this way anywhere before. It felt like they wanted me to leave for lord knows what reason. I've worked in the customer service department for years, and they definitely need A LOT of training. I'm a very outgoing person so I tried to engage in conversation & the lady named Sidra who I would go to just wasn't having it. Sidra did a decent job on my eyebrows because I don't ask for much but a clean up so I returned a few more times because it was convenient, brushing off the fact that they acted like they wanted nothing to do with me for no reason. All I ever asked for was to make my eyebrows look how I wanted them to. But today, July 9th 2018 is the last time I will ever go to that place again. When I walked in I was treated so nasty, the first words I was told was to sit down on the chair & wait (which obviously I was about to do). The job done by Sidra was disgraceful, and it almost felt like it was done on purpose because she literally reshaped my eyebrows! Every time I went before I never asked for anything near what was done. If I were to be honest I feel that they have a racial animus towards African Americans/ Darker skinned people. Ive seen other African Americans leave bad reviews so maybe they just don't like Dark skinned people. Either way they got what they probably wanted, never going to this place again!! I've done my brows there a few times and they have come out decent but this last visit was horrible. I usually go during the week and they do a good job but today I went on a Saturday and there were other people behind me so she was probably in a rush to finish with me. I've gone here before and had a decent experience with the older woman in the shop. Unfortunately, today was not even close to acceptable. The woman who "assisted" me stayed on the phone the entire time she was threading. On top of being rude. it was the most painful threading has ever been and I've been getting my eyebrows done this way for over 5 years. I recently grew out my eyebrows and she completely left me without a consistent eyebrow shape. I'm close to tears writing this and I hope anyone looking to come here reconsiders. read more

I've been going here since they were located in the beauty mall. It has pros and cons. Pro is definitely a price and for the most part the people are very pleasant and accommodating. It's a family run business. But, since they moved to country walk, they have new family members working who aren't that great. And of course, because it's family owned, they won't get rid of the bad threaders. The price is great, which is honestly why I keep going. I've never seen them wipe their chairs down, which is disgusting. I even asked if they had Clorox wipes or Lysol or something for the chairs and the woman pulled out a Kleenex and wiped the head of the chair. Not sure what that did or was supposed to do. I've observed that they don't always wash their hands/hand sanitize between customers either. They can work on being cleaner. Finally, I would avoid going on Sundays. The woman who's there on Sundays does not listen to requests and will make you bleed. It's already happened to me twice (I decided to give her another shot because I couldn't make it on any other day-- my mistake.) Other than that, it's inexpensive and the majority of the family are great. read more
