I am trying to grow out all my color and needed a shorter cut to assist with this undulating process?! Luckily, I was able to find someone immediately to help me with this task-I was at the point of cutting off my own hair to accomplish. Luckily, Young was available and cut my hair nicely with a great style. I have white-gray hair at my temples and Young worked her magic to cover up my gray while growing out my hair naturally! She's amazing and I left with self confidence and a happy new hairstyle. I was even indulged with a relaxing, massage, neck massage and luxurious hair shampoo by the sweet guy that specializes in scalp treatment! He provided great advice on what shampoos to use and products for sensitive scalps!! I tipped him because this was a high end perk at a budget shop. I had a memorable and Amazing time at Pika, pika and will return. I highly recommend Pika, pika hair, they're great, and fit me in to prevent me from chopping off my locks. They're right next to H-Mart, the shop and staff are all really nice and do amazing work. They are now my permanent hair stylist and I cannot wait to see them all again.

Unfortunately, the haircut I received from the owner was very basic and not what I asked for. I even provided two pics of what I was looking to achieve- failed miserably. I was especially disappointed with the scissor work and overall technique. Clippers were used on the back of my hair, which I initially assumed was part of creating some shape, but there really wasn't any layering or noticeable effort to add movement or texture. The end result felt more like a basic cut than a thoughtfully shaped haircut. Considering the owner has been cutting hair for some time, I expected a stronger understanding of basic scissor techniques and layering. In my experience, the skill level just wasn't there for the type of cut I was requesting. Ultimately, you get what you pay for, and unfortunately I left disappointed.

Being new to Dallas I had no idea who to go to and decided to yelp it. Found JT hair lab and after going through the reviews I decided to come to her. Couldn't be happier! Jenny was so throughout and professional. She evaluated my hair and gave me step by step procedure how she would fix it and bring it to where I would want it. I didn't expect to make it happen in one try (the before picture would explain why) - but she made it happen !!!! And she always inform you before she goes into the next step. I have nothing to say but highly recommended Jenny if you are very selective of your hair stylist, give her a try you won't regret it.

Terry has a way of cutting and thinning it out so that it lays smooth and creates a natural framing style for my face. It almost changes my texture as my hair has a tendency to fall into these beachy style waves, unless I blow dry it straight. Before those waves would be half straight/half wavy due to the weight of my hair. For my thick hair girls, I highly advise to try a Japanese hair cut once in your life and see if it has you coming back. Be sure to bring an inspirational photo to help show what you are looking for.
