They were so…read morekind and took time to explain how air moves through the chimney in detail, how things like open windows and flushing toilets can affect that. We had no idea about any of that since this is the first time we have had a fireplace, so we really appreciated the tips. It was very nice that they broke out all their different recommendations for repairs in writing and clearly outlined what was most critical and what could wait. Having that honesty is so important and definitely improves trust. They also were very communicative and easy to get in touch with. Thanks for the great job and looking forward to working with you again!

This was an unique situation that took some time investigating and discussion on a proper fix. Dave did a thorough job examining the problem. I decided he was the man for the job before he gave me a quote and the quote was reasonable. When we agreed on the price, I asked when it could be done. He said right now. Upon completion I checked the work. It is neat, addresses the problem and is sure to stop the leak (if not there is a 3 year warranty). He even repaired a few minor future problems for no charge. I will definitely use his service again.

He would throw tantrums and get mad if nothing went his way, I understand stuff happens but your a grown man doing all of this for what? The installers complain about not getting paid enough, management is decent, work place culture is a 1/10 not the best place to learn anything honestly, the hardest part of the job isn't anything. I really wanted to learn and I felt so unvalued by others no matter how much I really did try to learn. The most enjoyable part of the job was going home. I stuck around longer then I needed to because the installer I was with (whom I was placed with more) I really wanted to learn regardless of what he said about me, talked about me, gave me faces, punched around materials, the owners says he pays for materials and everything but he doesn't. The installers pay for all the material they need besides the pipe and that's it. Honestly,

We hired Lloyd to redo our shower system, replace three water shut-off valves, and fix a broken…read moretoilet flange as part of a bathroom remodel. Out of all the jobs that he was hired to do, none were done correctly. First, the shower system and the shut-off valves were installed using Sharkbite push-to-connect fittings which are typically a DIY solution and are far less reliable compared to the standard methods for installing on CPVC and Pex piping. We know from talking to other plumbers that Sharkbite is not what professional plumbers would use in this setting. Second, he claimed that the broken toilet flange could only be replaced by cutting open the ceiling below, which i did not want to do. He ended up installing a $5 spanner flange on top of the broken flange (see pic). Again, this is something a DIY-er could easily do. We asked another plumber afterwards and he told us that the toilet flange could have been replaced without having to open the ceiling below. Lloyd charged us $700 for the parts and labor on this job. We communicated our concerns to Lloyd over email after finding out about the subpar work, but unfortunately we never got any response. We had to pay again to have the work re-done by a professional to ensure our peace of mind that the job was done correctly. I hope this review is useful to anyone who is looking to purchase his services.
