His diagnosis was that candles were being burnt but he said if the problem continues call me and I will send a tech to look at the coil. Today they sent Norm to check the coil and to determine why the filters are turning black. The coil is squeaky clean and the theory is that they are still burning candles, have verified that candle burning is still going on. The recommendation is to clean ducts next spring or sooner if the problem persists. Good job done by a friendly tech, my only quibble was that the lady on the phone told me the tech would be there between 9 and 9:30 and she had actually allocated me in a four hour window between 9 and 1. Told me to expect it either over the weekend or on the Monday. No quote was forthcoming. I followed up 3 times over the next few weeks to try and get the quote. Finally, to give one last opportunity before I wrote a review, I called 2 weeks ago and was told the technician would call me back that day. Not surprisingly I heard nothing. I can only assume that the tech is assuming this job isn't worth his time as he'll make more elsewhere. Really wanted it to work out with these guys. I know a couple of guys who know the owner/manager and they have alot of good things to say about him. Unfortunately I can't even get a quote.

I've had multiple experiences with this company over the last 4+ years. It started off well, until…read morethe problems started adding up. A whole new HVAC unit was installed in my attic by this company, they stepped off the rafters and put a hole in my ceiling. Okay, no big deal, but they fought us and tried to blame us for the hole. They ended up fixing it- thanks. Issue after issue with this NEW system. Replaced the mother board, flushed the system multiple times ($$$!!!) and nothing fixed it. Got a new company out- and they quickly assessed the problem- the thermostat wasn't talking to the system, so a $200 fix and the system is working. Next issue a bit later, the system stops working again. Come to find out there was never a secondary drain shut off installed, a new drip pan was not installed, it was caulked where there were cracks!! So as it filled with water, water leaked down two stories to the main floor and we have water issues on the main floor. They also didnt install the only PVC drain properly. They propped it up so it was higher than the lowest point so water would never drain out of it anyways. ABS has royally screwed us over. I will never work with them again. I highly recommend you think twice before you do, as well.
