My parents returned from a vacation to find out that their main water line was broken and there was no water coming into the house. It was about 5:30 pm, and most places were closed. The price of the work was super reasonable vs the other repair company who wanted to charge 10 times what these guys did. All said and done - quality work, done quickly even in an emergency, and affordable pricing. I hope there are no repairs needed soon, but if there are, these guys will be our first phone call.

I can't say enough good things about Doug and Holm Heating & Cooling. I've used Doug before and…read morehave always been happy with his work, but this latest experience really showed the kind of customer service he provides. Our AC stopped cooling over the holiday weekend, so I sent Doug a text hoping I could get on his schedule after the holiday. He responded within minutes. After already working a long installation that day, Doug came to our house on Sunday at 6:00 PM because he wanted to make sure we had our AC back up and running. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part he needed right on his truck, and got everything working again that evening. I was honestly shocked that he was willing to come out that late on a Sunday--especially on a holiday weekend and after already putting in a full day. The fact that this level of customer service still exists is pretty incredible. Doug is knowledgeable, dependable, fair, and genuinely cares about taking care of his customers. As a repeat customer, experiences like this are exactly why I continue to call him and recommend him to others. I haven't contributed to Yelp in a long time, but logged back on just to share this experience. If you're in the area and need HVAC service, save Holm Heating & Cooling's information. Doug is the kind of person you want to have in your contacts when you need help. Highly recommend!

I was hoping to get just a couple minutes at most of someone's time to ask a few questions about the unit, but I was pleasantly surprised when Reggie, the service manager took upwards of an hour going over not just my system, but my ductwork and layout of my home in hopes of providing me maximum efficiency. I remind you, that I did not buy the equipment or have the install done by Tower Heating and Air, as I live about an hour away, but Reggie still took the time out of his incredibly busy morning to help me out. It is hard to find customer service like this these days, but Tower Heating & Air provides just that. They have gained a customer in me moving forward, as I will be contacting them about a new water heater in the very near future. Thank you again to Reggie and his team for going above and beyond for my family. -Travis

The other company's estimate came back a little high, so when my friend told me about Triangle Repair Group, I decided to check them out. And I'm so glad I did! I used their website to request an appointment, and their customer service representative, Alex, called me soon after to schedule a technician to see what was going on. The tech, Paul, quickly identified that the issue with my 2.5-ton Rheem package unit was a leaking evaporator coil. He showed me the problem (you could hear it audibly hissing!) and asked if he could follow up that afternoon with a quote to replace the coil. Paul was friendly and helpful and explained things at an appropriate pace. Alex sent me a quote later that day. I was surprised when the cost came back significantly lower than the other company: turns out the part was covered under warranty! I was pretty happy they found that out. Since I had to go out of town, and the HVAC was located entirely outside the house, I asked if I could schedule the repair for while I was gone. Sure enough, Paul was able to get the job done a couple days later. I came back to a comfortably cooled house. Because I'm "that guy," I decided to open up the HVAC to check out Paul's work. A+, super workmanship, clean job! I think and hope we'll be able to get many more years out of this system. I was very pleased with TRG, Paul, and Alex, and I look forward to using them again when I need repairs or a new system... though, obviously, I hope I don't need either anytime soon.

A whole new HVAC unit was installed in my attic by this company, they stepped off the rafters and put a hole in my ceiling. Okay, no big deal, but they fought us and tried to blame us for the hole. They ended up fixing it- thanks. Issue after issue with this NEW system. Replaced the mother board, flushed the system multiple times ($$$!!!) and nothing fixed it. Got a new company out- and they quickly assessed the problem- the thermostat wasn't talking to the system, so a $200 fix and the system is working. Next issue a bit later, the system stops working again. Come to find out there was never a secondary drain shut off installed, a new drip pan was not installed, it was caulked where there were cracks!! So as it filled with water, water leaked down two stories to the main floor and we have water issues on the main floor. They also didnt install the only PVC drain properly. They propped it up so it was higher than the lowest point so water would never drain out of it anyways. ABS has royally screwed us over. I will never work with them again. I highly recommend you think twice before you do, as well.

Several years ago, Greer's came out to perform maintenance on my HVAC system and I was highly…read moreimpressed with the honesty and candor of the gentleman (Mike) who performed the work. This Winter I had an issue with my furnace and could not remember the name of the company that had previously impressed me, so I turned to the omnipotent Google to help me figure it out. A search of trustworthy, family owned HVAC companies turned up the standard results without distinction and I selected one that I thought was Greer's without recalling the name. Long story short, they came out, made a 1 minute repair (literally flipped a switch), and then proceeded to share the news of imminent doom related to my HVAC system. Within 30 minutes of the Tech providing the news of my rapidly approaching need for a stockpile of extra blankets and the hiring of a full time lumberjack to supply all the firewood I was going to need, I had the full attention of a "Supervisor" who magically appeared at my home to provide an official quote for a new furnace. I was so thankful for their incredible sleuthing skills which were sure to save me from a future of suffering in an Antarctic-like frozen tundra of a home, I immediately agreed to purchase the proposed upgraded replacement system right there on the spot. Crisis averted and warmth was a continued guarantee for my future. In reality, I simply said Thank You, I will discuss with the spousal unit - have a good day. Or some similar BS to attempt to get them to leave. Of course, they stuck around and tried to "sell me" on the spot with horrific tales of emergency repair prices during the Winter season and all that awesomeness. Yada, yada, yada, they were sent on their way and I retreated to my comfy chair to ponder whether or not I should order a Jersey Mike's sub or not. AND my system continued to work with no issues whatsoever and full warmth and comfort were enjoyed by all throughout Winter. Anyway, I somehow finally figured out the proper name of the company I wanted originally in March and called Greer's for a second opinion for reassurance that my system was indeed OK for the Spring. A day or so later, Dave Greer and son (David?) arrived to provide the system inspection. Dave basically said that the system was in good shape for a few more years, might need a replacement part or two in the next year or so, and could use some maintenance. Wow, no gloom and doom forecast. No up-sell. No tricks. Nothing but honesty and frank assessments. In fact, I had been toying with the idea of replacing the entire HVAC system and he informed me that it was not necessary at this time. Most HVAC companies would take full advantage of me if I indicated I wanted to replace the entire system even though it was not needed, but Greer's was honest and forthcoming and did the right thing. Very much appreciated. Regardless of Dave's professional opinion, I still wanted to replace the entire system because I am just wasteful and irresponsible with my finances. Actually, since it was approximately 15 years old, and I wanted the system to be in great shape when I plan to sell my house in the next 3-5 years, and I did not want to deal with repairs and unexpected HVAC expenses while in the home, and I am just stubborn when I make a decision...I pushed for a whole system replacement quote. Good idea? Who knows, but somebody is going to own a plush house with darn good infrastructure in the next few years by the time I am finished and I will be living at 9000' in the middle of the Colorado Rocky Mountains where AC is not needed. but a snowmobile is. In the end, Mike from Greer's and his crew performed an excellent install of a completely new HVAC system (furnace, condensing unit, evaporator coil, refrigerant lines, rigid ducts, expansion boxes, flex ducts, extra insulation and mastic sealant at every connection and vent - approximately 30 vents and 3 returns). I also received a 10 year parts and labor warranty on the entire system. Mike and his Team were extremely punctual, completed work ahead of time and cleaned up all areas very well. I highly recommend Greer's for any type of maintenance or system upgrade, replacement or new installation and I definitely recommend asking for Mike. He was indeed the gentleman that came to perform the maintenance years ago that impressed me so much with his honesty and candor and the actual reason I remembered the experience and requested Greer's in the first place. I feel fortunate to have had him perform the work on our home. His attention to detail and obvious efforts above and beyond the norm are extremely appreciated and provide a confidence of a quality installation that I seldom experience when working with any industry.
