She had moved and she had a story about her alarm not going off. I never got the grooming that day. I gave her another chance. Today I arrived at 7:07, due to getting stuck waiting to get out of my driveway by the garbage truck. Another groomer told me, as I entered that Roxanne had already left and said she was not waiting for me, since I was late. The good news is another amazing business All About Paws got us right in and gave our schnauzer the best cut she has ever had!! Sometimes things work out! I am just disappointed Roxanne couldn't call me herself and be professional! I don't think it was fair to the other groomer, who is an independent contractor, to have to tell me my groomer I waited 2 weeks to see was unable to be an adult and talk to me herself. Kind of like when I called and called her in the parking lot, while she slept. Lucky for me I have a better, more professional groomer that knows how to cut a schnauzer and communicate. They have already said- they can get me in 2-3 days from requesting an appointment. This is the difference from a true business and a group of independent contractors that want no responsibility to their actions. BEWARE!!!!!

We joined their monthly program and I usually add on a full spa package when she goes. The teeth brushing, nail dermal and facial really help keep her nice and clean. A little over a year ago there was a change in ownership and the new owners, Candace and Jesse, have made the shop and grooming experience even better. Candace and Jesse are wonderful people and are so helpful. They also go out of their way to make sure your pup's or cat's experience is the best. All of the groomers are amazing and they do such a great job. They are so caring and personable and they always treat my two cavaliers like they are their own. Unfortunately, after the change in ownership, the atmosphere shifted from a family-friendly environment to one that feels primarily money-focused. When you're leaving a pet who is truly a family member in someone's care, that difference matters. When I first began bringing my dog in, a full groom was $45, which later increased to $60. After the new owners took over, I made sure to request everything listed as included in the grooming package. The total then came to $105 for my Yorkie. I was surprised that services listed on the wall required specific requests, rather than simply being included. During my last visit, pricing displayed on the wall did not match what I was verbally quoted. I was told the prices were outdated and should have been removed. However, when I returned to pick up my dog, the incorrect prices were still posted. As a customer, transparency and consistency in pricing are important. Additionally, there seems to be an added charge for nearly everything. For example, when I asked if a small amount of balm could be applied to my dog's nose, I was told it would be an additional $5. There is also a late pickup fee of $20-$30 per hour. While I understand policies are necessary, pickup times have been inconsistent on their end as well. On one occasion, I was charged for being late when family was visiting. On another visit, I waited four hours for my dog's grooming to be completed and did not feel comfortable leaving, fearing additional charges. One of my biggest concerns was regarding my dog's severe eczema. They advised me to bring my own if I wanted something different. At the price point being charged, I expected options for sensitive skin without having to supply my own products. Since then, I found a mobile groomer who comes to my home, charges the same price, includes all services without additional fees, offers sensitive-skin shampoo options at no extra charge, and even adds small touches complimentary. Most importantly, my dog's eczema has completely cleared up. I do not typically switch groomers and was a loyal client for years. However, I no longer feel comfortable recommending this salon. It simply does not have the same feel or customer care that it once did. I would like to end on a positive note as the Groomer that did cut my dog's hair. Did do a good job with the trim, but that's not enough to keep me at the same salon as a customer. I am much happier now with my Mobile Groomer.

My dogs are of different ages and temperaments and even my oldest little one Chanel, who we normally has to tranquilize at other groomers does fine here without any tranquilizers. My dogs come back happy, smelling like a dream and calm. As a furbaby momma, my 7 babies safety and care are the utmost importance to me and when I leave my children with Paw Spa, I never worry for they are loved and cared for just like we love and care for them. In addition, if the groomers notice anything amiss about one of my dogs, they let me know immediately and we take them to the vet. I really couldn't ask for anything more. Paw Spa is highly recommended.

My pup is sensitive, a little codependent, and overall a little anxious so grooming day can be scary for her. What I LOVE about Paw Spa is they don't take 10 dogs at a time and keep them caged all day, my girl is usually ready for pick up within and hour of drop off which means a lot less stress for her. On top of that, the haircut is always adorable, I get a priceless photo of my little model, and they preschedule to keep her beauty routine on schedule. Look no further, this is the best groomer in the Treasure valley!
