Came here after my eye doctor retired and he sent over my paperwork. I had intended on moving to…read morean eye doctor closer to home, but I absolutely loved the people and service I recieved so I am going to have to deal with the drive. Everyone was very friendly and my appointment was taken on time. They were very thorough and explained everything. And normally I have to go to 6 mall eyeglass stores to maybe find 1 pair I sort of like. My former doctor never carried a selection to suit my taste. Whoever is in charge of buying frames at this little place needs a raise! I picked out TEN frames that I loved and after meticulous methods of elimination, I finally settled on one pair (that I recieved numerous compliments on, including one "woah those are a HUGE improvement over your other frames!" Hey, now. Easy with the honesty, there, fella.) This was my first pair of bifocals/progressive lenses (ugh! I'm old!) and they said it might take awhile to get used to them. But it only took a day or two so I'm willing to bet the quality is top notch. My contact lens order arrived in 4 days and my glasses in 7. Love this little place. Great, friendly, professional service and a wonderful selection of classic and trendy frames, including brand names if that's important to you. Highly recommended!

I also spoke with the person on the phone the day that I made the appointment and he verified all of my requirements of what I was looking for. I drove 70 miles based on that information. The doctor was excellent--thorough, informative, and very kind. Ms Carol was also incredibly sweet and professional. She truly did her best to help, and I appreciated her kindness throughout the appointment. Unfortunately, everything after my exam was frustrating. I received conflicting information about almost everything. I was told they could put prescription lenses in my Meta glasses, then they couldn't. They couldn't tint the lenses, then they could--but not with a gradient tint. Ms Carol even was nice enough to call LensCrafters at the mall to give me options ELSEWHERE. I also asked if my contact lenses could simply be mailed to me since I had driven such a long distance, but that became another issue with additional charges. In the end, I left with no glasses, no contacts, and an insurance benefit used on an appointment that didn't accomplish what I came for. My biggest disappointment is that the website did not accurately reflect what this location could actually provide. I spent time researching before choosing this office, only to make a long drive for services they ultimately couldn't deliver. The one star is because the Dr was nice & Ms Carol but the inaccurate website information, lack of product knowledge, and inconsistent answers made this a very disappointing experience. I would recommend this location only if you need a basic eye exam. I had been seen over the last few years for vision loss by three different eye doctors. All three…read morehad no real reason for it, but did notice "mild" cataracts that they all said couldn't be affecting my vision that much. I saw Dr. Pierre at Brecksville Surgery Center because my vision was deteriorating. He noticed several problems, but said my cataracts were significant and he immediately schedulede for surgery. It has been a month since my second surgery and my vision just tested at 20/15. I can see without glasses for the first time in almost 20 years. Dr. Pierre is a God send, is a caring, skilled surgeon, and the staff at BSC is the best. The center is high tech and all the doctors are the best in the state. I recommend them with all my heart.

The first one, from Cleveland Eye Clinic made no sense to me. What was shown as the amount I paid was some random number, a lot less than what I had paid up front. I called customer service and was told that the bill was in error, that they had a new billing system, and that I didn't owe anything. I just received the second bill, this one from the Brecksville Surgery Center. Again, what was shown as the amount I paid was inaccurate. The customer service rep reviewed my account and told me how much I owed, which was a different amount than what was stated on the invoice that I received. She was throwing out numbers that weren't on the bills I received. Please get your billing together. Please stop sending bills that apparently don't even match your internal records, leaving the patient confused about how much is actually owed. I told the rep that I'll consider paying the bill when I get an invoice that shows clearly how much Aetna was billed, how much they paid on the claims, and how much I had paid or still owe out of pocket. Like I said, the medical services I received were excellent. It's a shame you make the practice look bad with amateurish and confusing billing.

Everyone was pleasant, but when you first come in they try to upsell you. Really? The front Receptionist is going to sell me crap that I do not need, and not covered by insurance!! Stop doing this. They provided high-index lenses despite my explicit instructions and medical history. I asked the…read moreoptician multiple times about what lens were in my glasses after informing them of have issues I was having with my new glasses and them trying to adjust and fix the issues. I never got a receipt either. Derek on multiple visits stated they were not high index when I asked him. Until I emailed and demanded the information they sent to lab and a receipt did I see that high index lens are in my glasses. I brought this up and he flat out said we discussed it and I wanted them. That never happened. I had previously informed them multiple times, my eyes cannot adjust to high-index materials. To ensure there was no mistake, I provided their office with over five pairs of my previous glasses as physical proof that I only wear regular plastic. I also provide my eye records for the past 4 plus years including prescription and receipts that showed last lens were reg plastic not high index. They ignored my medical needs and the physical evidence I provided them. Which has left me with a $748 pair of glasses that are unusable. On top of giving them over 6 plus months to fix the issue. On top of Derek dismissing my concerns questions and not returning phone calls. Its truly sad that as a professional he treats and does this to his patients and lies on top of it. I only wanted to be able to see.

Dr. Bobst himself was personable and quite knowledgeable. The regular optician was not in today and we were hoping to get the ball rolling on new frames for my husband since his glasses are broken. Even in the optician's absence, the staff was able to at least get everything measured so that the optician had his measurements on Monday to order the glasses first thing. It was very helpful and we really appreciated the great customer service in times when it seems like that's the lowest priority for a lot of places. Needless to say, we have officially found the place we will be going for all of our vision needs.

Well I couldn't see anything up close including my phone so I told them I'm not wearing them. Made appointment a week and a half later, no idea what for no one told me anything. Arrived at my appointment told the person who greeted me that I'm not sure why I'm here, she said she wasn't sure either. Told her I don't have the contact lens in because I couldn't see up close, she said ok. Fast forward to the Dr. Told him about all I just explained. He said they are multi focus I said I have no idea when I called the technician said they were not. He said let's have a look, I'm like I didn't wear them. I had no idea what this appointment was for, no one told me to wear them. He then laughed at me, like he couldn't believe I didn't wear them to this appointment. Greeted with a smile, easy check in as a new patient, wait time was excellent and short, Robin who took all important medical information from RX information, allergies to surgical information was excellent. Top notch care quality. Tests were done that I never ever had done. Dr. Shaheen was communicative, a good listener, reviewed all my test results. Pressure check was somewhat of a concern and prescribed a stronger eye drop to reduce the pressure in my eyes. I have to return in a month to have my pressure rechecked to see if the pressure has improved. Overall, my office visit as a New Patient was above and beyond. Peaceful environment, greeted with a smile by everyone I interacted with, thorough and excellent care, return appointment easily made. I look forward to my return appointment. R.G.
