Since I really need my glasses, he suggested a more affordable alternative. I told him I would think about it and left. I attempted to contact EVC repeatedly and did not receive any response until I called approximately six times over a eight-week period. When I finally reached an associate, I was told the package had already been shipped and that there was "nothing they could do / out of their hands" despite the error and the fact that I never received the replacement glasses I paid for. The associate (Chelsea) was unprofessional and rude during the call and contradicted prior statements she had made to me regarding insurance policy and coverage. Due to the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct, I will not be returning as a client & recommend you take your business elsewhere.

When I got there, Jan was waiting on someone else so I had plenty of time to browse. I talked to a rep about needing my lens tweaked in the beginning and he assumed it was for eye glasses and made an appointment to see the frame specialist. Wasted my time and gas because I needed to see the doctor about the prescription change. Went back again and was refitted for my left lens. After months of waiting and several phone calls, the new lens came in. Problem...it was the same prescription that I received the first time. (Are you f#&&#* kidding me.) I am still waiting on my new lens 8 months later. I had to use my old lenses (which were 8 years old and full of deposits) to take a glaucoma test because the rep forgot to put my new lenses in solution before the test. Another tech tried to get pressures on my eyes with a puff machine and gave up after around 15 to 20 minutes. Asked for help and discovered the machine will not work with someone wearing gas perm lenses. (What the Hell!) The worse part was Dr. Tom made me assume I was losing my vision to glaucoma and it was too late to treat. Even retired early because of this news. Needless to say...I went to a specialist in St. Louis and am being treated for mild to moderate glaucoma and my specialist said we are stopping this disease in its tracks. That place is a nightmare. Run for your life. Well I called about my lens after writing this review and was told that it was in. Went to pick it up and was told that it had to be cleaned and conditioned first and the lab person just went to lunch. This was at 2:45pm. Another trip... wasted my time and gas. So unreal. Incompetence at its finest.

At first, during my first visit, I was put off with all the paperwork I had to fill out. Then I took a deep breath and accepted the fact that I was a new patient. Once I was taken to the exam area, I was impressed with the attention to detail I received by the associate. Then when I meet, Dr. Taylor I was really sold. She was so professional and explained everything in terms I could understand. When I schedule my next appointment, I will be sure it is with, Dr. Taylor. I am so glad that I finally made the change to, Hill Vision Services. I'm getting top-notch care and services.
