Pricing is even better…read more I had to do an eye exam because the DMV would not allow me to get my license without having my eyes checked out and the form they gave me filled out. I went to 5 different places on telegraph and this place got me in within 10 minutes. When I went to the other places they did not have any appointments that same day so I booked appointments for next day with a couple of them and asked pricing. The least expensive option from the other places was $150 for just the eye exam with no insurance and another one was $250! Affordable eye care was only $40! Please check this place out for both price and the friendliest crew working there. They also have a lab inside that does your lenses within 20 minutes. Extremely quick. Extremely great customer service. Very inexpensive!

I was having a horrible time seeing still and the people at the other shop wouldn't listen to a word I said. A family friend told me about this place and the prices she got. I couldn't believe it when I got one pair of glasses, a trial pair of contacts ordered before having too purchase a bunch and not know if they worked or not, a pair of reading glasses and my husband had them make his sunglasses darker. I've not purchased my contacts yet but the price I've paid already is outstanding. With how bad my vision is I never thought I'd be excited for glasses. It was always embarrassing to me to wear them. The street and sidewalks are completely shutdown due to construction; no way my mom could walk 30 yards to get to the door. I walk in and tell them we'll have to move the appointment. A woman says she called everyone to notify them of their situation. We got no such call, despite having the appointment for weeks. Instead, I wasted an hour of my workday. Shame on me for taking the easy way and trying to go back here. Never again.

I took my wife in for an initial appt. while she was back their a customer came to show his new glasses were not correct. They proceeded to give him a hard time ,asked him for paper work which he gave, then that was not good enough. After a few minutes of harassing this man he left with the issue worse. my wife came out from her exam and we ordered 2 pair of glasses. We purchased their insurance and paid for her glasses. When we got to the car I told her what I saw. Her response was oh. When the time we were told t glasses would be ready they didn't call or communicate in any form. So after us calling them 3 different times the answer was yes they just came in. She went and pick them up. 3 or 4 days later she tells me it's hard for her to read things out of her new glasses. I told her to call them to schedule a time to come in for this issue. There is no need to tell you how hard it was to get a time asap that met both our schedules. 10 days later we were there. she explained why she was there. All they wanted was her insurance info, her name ,phone, b day not good enough. when they finally stop to listen to her and not over speaking to her they then said oh it's been a month maybe your prescription has changed. We need to schedule an eye exam that she will have to pay for. Just got an eye exam a month earlier for her there. They took her back for her 2nd exam . They did not see me sitting in a chair. Any way while she was back getting her exam they stated making fun of my wife, rolling their eyes doing what some females do. I didn't say a word . when my wife came out of the exam room I walked up to the counter with her. Told her what I just saw and heard. My response was fuck these people , I said there at the counter. They started doing what ass holes do, raising their voices denying it. They didn't like it that I was able to record most of this on my phone. I started playing it back to them with their faces and voices saying this stuff about a customer. Oh by the way after what my vision insurance paid I paid an additional 1200.00 to get what my wife wanted. Anyway after realizing they didn't measure the no line bifocal correctly and didn't want to see themselves acting a fool on a video they got right on fixing the problem fast. All at no pay. I waited to get my wife's glasses back before writing this review. I wonder how many of their good reviews are self written. I'm a retired US Army helicopter pilot (25 ) years and then retired in civilian life from ALCOA as their plant manager. I am not an intitled snowflake. It would be one thing if they got you in right away and he left in that scenario but when have you ever saw the eye doctor in the first ten mins of your visit? Never. The guy didn't even wait 5 before leaving because no one was even walking out the door as I was parking. Gone here for years. Will not be coming back.

We had an appointment on a Saturday at 4PM. We understand they close early and that's fine but don't tell us that we're able to get a pair of trial contacts to get by before glasses come in but won't give them to us because a doctor has to see us put them in and out...told us at the beginning. And at the end the male manager said he wouldn't give it to us since the doctor has to see...well that's a total lie. We went to a different location on Monday and a doctor did not see us at all while getting and putting contacts in. Hmmm sounds like the manager at the Lindbergh location was just plain lazy and wanted to get out of there since everyone else was leaving. Again, I understand they close early on saturdays but don't say something then change your mind at the end since everyone took so long. We will never come back to this establishment ever again. Full of lies and do not care about their customers.
