I have used cascade wheel over the last 15 years and it has gone downhill and I will not be…read morereturning. I brought my 17 Inch wheel in to have a crack repaired. Just the crack welded. I came to pick it up and they grinded down the curb marks on face of the wheel which I did not ask for, now the paint/finish on the wheel does not match because they ground down the lip on the edge. I also found another crack next to the large crack they had repaired which was not there when I dropped the wheel off. They insisted they did not cause it but I inspected this wheel very thoroughly before dropping off and would have seen the smaller crack next to the large crack. I left the wheel for them to repair the smaller crack and was told they will have the painters try to match the paint color and spray the silver ground down areas. Upon pick up the 2nd time, the small crack was repaired poorly compared to the 1st crack repair, and they did not paint the ground down damage like they said, and the weld does not even have a finish applied over it like the larger weld does. The face of the wheel near the spokes also have damage now from the welding residue which I don't know how they even did that when the repair is on the inside barrel not even close to the face of the wheel. I will be going elsewhere for wheel repairs in the future.

My back right tire was continuing to lose air and I was filling it every few weeks. I finally brought it in after it got lower than usual. The mechanic was great at dumbing things down for me and giving me all the options. He said they could fix it, but that my tires were in really bad shape and it might be better to replace them all instead. I wasn't sure if this was just sales, but he took me to look at my tires compared to new ones and WOW. Whoops, my bad for never replacing them. I told him that I work from home and really only drive to see friends or go to appointments and hardly ever go over the pass, and he showed me some discount tires that would work for my needs without any extras. I liked that he gave me several quotes and options but still recommended the least expensive based on my needs, felt very genuine. He also didn't judge me when I asked what "fixing my alignment means" and showed me how my alignment would affect my driving. This also felt like a genuine add on. For a full set of new tires and alignment repair, I was there an hour and a half. The waiting room is HUGE! Tons of seating and plugs, plus they had popcorn and water. Really clean too. I brought my airpods, laptop, and ipad so I could work and watch tv while I was there. Free fast wifi too! It was a wonderful, quiet, clean place to wait. When I was checking out, the sales associate said that the would send me reminders to get my tires rotated so these would last me as long as possible. This was awesome, because I know I would forget. Within 20 seconds of driving off I FELT the difference in my car. I regret waiting so long to go in and get everything checked out!

In the last year, I have brought my car there about 6, the 4 punctures. 1 flat tire where they fixed the valve stem, and a tire balancing. I paid $30 for all of it. The only thing that costed money was the balancing. And it was something like $7.50 a tire. Love this place. Best tire shop in Kirkland by a mile.

I came here after hitting a curb -- my steering wheel was off-center and I needed an alignment…read more They performed the alignment and charged me for it, but the steering wheel was still crooked afterward. I then took my car to the Mercedes dealership for an inspection. Their master technician told me directly: the shop should never have performed the alignment in the first place. There was visible damage to the tie rod, steering rack, and wheel bearing -- damage that any competent technician would have seen the moment the car was put on an alignment rack. Here's the thing: an alignment cannot hold or function correctly when the underlying components are damaged. With a bent tie rod, a compromised steering rack, and a bad wheel bearing, the alignment settings will be inaccurate from the start -- or revert immediately once you drive. This shop either didn't know that, or knew it and did the alignment anyway to collect payment. Neither is acceptable. Instead of being honest about the damage and referring me to a proper repair facility, they charged me for a service that was completely ineffective and a total waste of money. If your car has been in any kind of impact, do not bring it here. They will perform services they know cannot fix your problem just to take your money.

Aforementioned hiccups did cause the repair to take twice as long as we thought, but I would definitely bring my mustang back here again because it's clear that they're just going through some growing pains with new staff and know what they're talking about for the most part. The pricing was reasonable, and they even recommended me a trustworthy shop to go to for a repair that they weren't able to complete. Overall, I genuinely think that Downtown Automotive cares about their customers and are working their behinds off to get all of their clients taken care of!

I was then scolded (for about 5 minutes) by the person who was supposed to do the service that they would never have time to for their hour diagnostic on a Friday late afternoon (even though that was the service I booked and confirmed the appointment for). I was confused because I had made and confirmed the appointment but after the conflict, I just wanted to leave. I was then followed to my car "to get a quick look" and after another scolding about random parts of my car, he blocked my driver door from closing with his body so I couldn't leave. I ended up being there for 15 minutes and 14 of those were spent getting scolded. I left in tears- because I already hate going in for car services- and will never go back to that establishment again. I would not recommend going here to get your car serviced!
