They have brand names end of line or last season for men, women and children. One reason I dislike Brantano's is, it's impersonal and there are only a few seats where you can actually try shoes on, so people sit around on the floor or even sit there children on the floor while they spread themselves across the walkway. NOT FUN! It's on a retail park so it does get busy at times and the staff do try to get people to stay out of the walkways but people being people they never listen. They do a nice range of belts, purses and bags, thats the only thing in there favour.

They do stock a wide range of shoes and sizes in the store and if they don't have the shoe you want in your size, they are so helpful that they can tell you when a particular shoe will be in. They also stock children school shoes and wellies. A good bonus here is that you can pick up the kids school socks as well and they are also reasonably priced. They always have the sales isles down the middle of the shop so even though the shoes are cheap enough, you can get some at rock bottom prices. Please beware when you get to the till - if you don't want to buy a shoe cleaner or boot polish then say no - you will be asked.

So I had a bit of a spree and bought a pair of trainers, a pair of good casual shoes and a pair of slippers, for between £20 and £30. So far so good. Not so good when I first put on the trainers and the tongue literally fell out in my hands. Even worse after two weeks when the soles of my slippers starting hanging off. But as if the gods were mocking me, the worst was yet to come. Barely two weeks after I bought the casual shoes, I wore them on a trip to London. In the course of one afternoon's walking, a split appeared across the bottom of soles, and by the end of the day I was literally walking about like a tramp with my shoes barely hanging together. They literally split in half. I had no money to buy a new pair, and by the time I got home the next morning, my feet were calloused and in pain. I took all three pairs back and got a refund. Never again. Outrageously bad quality.

They arrived in good time but as I have found a lot lately they didn't fit his size 10 feet, so I needed to return them. I read Wynsors terms and conditions which states that if I were to use their supplied label then it would cost me £2.99 deducted from my refund. Instead I used my own label and paid for the return. I sent my son to the post office with the parcel asking him to get proof of postage which of course he didn't get. The returned shoes got to Wynsors and I was refunded minus the £2.99. When I contacted customer support I was told according to their paperwork I had used the returns label which of course I hadn't. I told them if they had checked their paperwork they would have seen the un-used returns label inside the package still stuck to the reason for returning sheet. I have not heard back from them since and without that vital proof of postage can do nothing. I will never use the company again and will make sure all my friends and family are aware of there terrible customer service!

They don't mind if you don't buy anything, if you just browse, if you just want the kids feet measured even. They have a loyalty scheme for the kids - I think you can get 10% off. Their sales are quite good but the only thing that lets them down is that their prices are absolutely standard! Even their sales prices are the same every year, its set in stone i think! They sell the usual handbags and shoe cleaners but really their service is so good, always full of staff, always happy to help so I would recommend them.
