There is plenty of space in the shop for people to browse, try the shoes on and also walk around to check the comfort of the shoes. I think this is a lot better than some shoe stores where you barely have room to browse, let alone comfortably try on a pair. Always seems clean, although the smell of plastic in the shoes can sometimes be a little overpowering. The staff i've been served by have always been polite and fairly quick at serving, and i've never really noticed large queues even when shopping on a saturday.

The staff there are helpful and polite and are always at hand . Wynsors have there own big carpark and its can get busy the ques are never big as the staff are quick servers . The only problem is i think icould do with moving near to the other shops to gain more business and to make it alot easier for those who are shopping in hanley.

Amongst their shelves, they stock some classic brand names like Hush Puppies and Ravel; these are typically those you can trust for quality and durability. Although this one is probably the biggest and branches into kids shoes as well as adults. There is a lovely range of gladiator sandals ready for the summer on the right hand side of the shop (as you look at it) that made me go 'oooh' for a second before I realised I've not booked a holiday this year and England is too cold for sandals. Also on this side of the shop are the shoes that make you wonder 'do real people buy these or just the strippers?' There are a few stand-alone units that tend to have all the sale shoes on - if you're lucky you can get a fashionable bargain here. And then there's the kids' shoes on the other side, which freaks me out a bit when you hear the thick scouse accent exclaim "eh girl look at these - they'd be boss on the baby!". My opinion on how to dress kids is like this: until they are old enough to think for themselves they should be dressed like children. Not like Britney Spears. Shoes for children should be bought from Clark's and nowhere else. However, I think I'm pretty much alone in that. So: get your shoes from here if you want them cheap but fashionable and fairly sturdy, unless you're buying from the kids' section, in which case prepare for my disdainful looks!!

They seem to do various offers, when I visited there was a 'buy one pair get a second pair half price' deal on ladies footwear. As well as shoes they stock luggage and also a good selection of Regatta jackets. Easy to park in the enormous car park which serves Tesco, Next and Matalan as well as this Clark's shop. Basically it's a conveniently located shoe outlet store selling reasonably priced Clark's shoes, its size makes it feel a little impersonal compared to a traditional high street shoe shop but hey ho you can't have everything I don't suppose.

I was'nt hopeful as it didnt look the type of shop that would have shoes for kids ( loads of adult designer) I got a surprise school shoes, party shoes, sandals, boots, wellies and crocs and a big sale rack. A sales assistant measured my daughter's feet and then spent the best part of an hour sorting us out, she made sure the shoes we ended up with fitted perfectly and much to my little girls delight gave her sparkly purse when we paid for being such a good girl for such a long time. The shoes were not cheap at £30 (Hush puppies) but similar price to Clarkes with much better service. We also got a pretty pair in the sale range hush puppies again but at 75% off and the same fitting service as the full price pair what a bargain. I am definatly using this shop againit may not be local to me but well worth the trip as I feel good shoes are important whilst little feet are growing. We like Morecambe for a day out or weekend break so thats a plus as well.

It has recently expanded it's range to include some of the luxury skin care ranges, including Clarins & Clinique. It stocks Jane Shilton shoes and is happy to order a particular size if it is not stocked. The ladies fashion floor staff can be rather snooty, especially if you are not dressed to kill on a rainy Thursday afternoon. You can end up feeling like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when the sales assistants look you up and down. (Where's Richard Gere when you need him) The kitchen and homewares departments have now moved to be housed in the new Booths at the other end of Lytham. Plenty of parking available outside.
