This detracts somewhat as there are often empty shops. However, in recent months it seems to have picked up a lot and I am back to enjoying my shopping experience with them. Especially at Christmas as they have carols etc and it all feels a little Dickensian! You can always find quirky presents and sit in the cafe and watch the world go buy. Good wheelchair access and a lift to the upper floor. At least as it is enclosed you don't get wet! Always a bonus.

I'm surprised there is only one review for this great shop!…read more Blueberries isn't the sort of shop one would associate with Blackpool (I said "one" there as it's the sort of shop you should say "one" in!) It's three floors of high end designer products. I felt scruffy going in with my mates but the friendly staff made sure I felt welcome. It wouldn't look out of place in the most expensive shopping streets and arcades in London.

If you are looking for high end high street clothing then this is the only place you need to go. It is 3 floors of shopping heaven for men and women. The diesel floor is the best as you can always find a pair to fit. On the entrance there is some gorgeous but expensive pieces ranging from ted baker to D&G. In summer check them out for there range of birkenstocks with some stunning exclusive designs.

In fact, it's so much about the leather that they only carry four or five trainers for boys. Jones Bootmaker also has a great range of shoe care products behind the counter. If you want to tenderly care for your shoes then they have brushes, polishes and shoe horns. Who would ever want to buy a wooden thing shaped like a foot that you put in a shoe to help it keep its shape? Is this the kind of thing a boy will never understand?

I was'nt hopeful as it didnt look the type of shop that would have shoes for kids ( loads of adult designer) I got a surprise school shoes, party shoes, sandals, boots, wellies and crocs and a big sale rack. A sales assistant measured my daughter's feet and then spent the best part of an hour sorting us out, she made sure the shoes we ended up with fitted perfectly and much to my little girls delight gave her sparkly purse when we paid for being such a good girl for such a long time. The shoes were not cheap at £30 (Hush puppies) but similar price to Clarkes with much better service. We also got a pretty pair in the sale range hush puppies again but at 75% off and the same fitting service as the full price pair what a bargain. I am definatly using this shop againit may not be local to me but well worth the trip as I feel good shoes are important whilst little feet are growing. We like Morecambe for a day out or weekend break so thats a plus as well.

I don't think there was any type of shoe I did not see at this wonderful shoe store! From the outside, this shop actually looks like a discount shoe store but when you enter, you'll begin to understand why it's called Famous Footwear - that's for a very good reason. Amongst their shelves, they stock some classic brand names like Hush Puppies and Ravel; these are typically those you can trust for quality and durability. Prices do vary from the cheap to the high-end so expect a balanced selection of shoes to suit all ages and styles. You have two floors of decent footwear, so no excuses!
