Team members are consistently friendly and helpful, especially in the self-checkout area. The meat department is well stocked, and the expanded seafood section is a noticeable upgrade with a much better selection than before. Prices are competitive, and there are always plenty of sale items throughout the store. The only things keeping this from five stars are the produce department, where leafy greens can sometimes look a bit wilted, and a checkout system that can occasionally be annoying. I have no business or need to go there, except for one reason; my sister can only find a particular sensitive skin cleanser that she insists on for her children through them and because she does not want to pay shipping charges. So being the kind person that I am, once a year, I go to Hocks to pick up a years supply of this cleanser for her. She makes all the arrangements, I just do as I am told. I had no idea that they had opened up a new store. The new one has every possible apparatus, etc that you can imagine using for at-home use while recovering from surgery, etc. The clerk working could not find my order. I was annoyed to death. I was told that the store and the website were separate entities though they were housed in the same building. The clerk had no idea where to find my order. Driving 30 minutes out of our way did not make me happy nor did it please my already irritated husband.
