Then an appointment last winter was cancelled the night before. It happens; they were apologetic and both appointments were ultimately rescheduled. But today after I arrived 12 minutes late for my most recent appointment, I was told I'd have to reschedule because I was outside the 10-minute grace period. I hope anyone but the receptionist would have made an exception, but that's the face of the business and that's who I had to deal with. Unfortunately she was neither sympathetic nor polite. If you expect grace from your customers in the face of unexpected cancellations, then you should be willing to give actual grace in return. I'll be looking for another dentist.
