I called Clark pest control because we had an issue with fleas. I do all my own outdoor pest control. I only needed them because we tried everything! and could not get rid of these stupid fleas. We only have one cat and she never even goes outside. Frustrated, I called Clark pest control via the 800 number and the person on the phone said that I would not tied into a contract and that I could cancel it anytime. That's perfect for me because I didn't need them for anything other than just getting rid of the fleas. In fact, I was very clear with the technician the first time he came out. First time he sprayed the inside of the house they were gone for about a week and then came back so we called within the 30 days and had him come back out and since then we've been flea free. Been about five weeks now and we haven't seen any so that's good. My issue is with customer service I called the customer service line and explained to them that the problem had been resolved and that I would like to cancel the service. The lady on the phone said no that's not possible and said that I need to "read the fine print when I sign up for a contract" Which obviously shocked me because, one she was being kind of rude and two, I explained in detail why I needed to cancel and she basically told me it's a hard NO. So I told her if I was lied to and tied into an annual contract, I'm gonna be super pissed. So she transferred me over to another customer service department, and that lady told me, no you're not tied into a contract it's an "agreement" and you can cancel at any time. I told her, well that's completely the opposite of what your other customer service person told me. She said that in my "agreement" that I didn't even have an early cancellation fee so at least the person that signed me up understood the assignment. So the agreement has been canceled. Credit card has been removed from their billing, which is good but I shouldn't have to go through this whole, talk to one person they give me a completely different story than somebody else. Would I recommend Clark Pest Control, maybe, just be very sure when you sign up that you're only signing up for a "agreement" and not a contract. read more

Having a problem with Mealy Moths the Clark technician came out on 2 separate occasions trying to find source of infestation. On the 2nd visit he thinks he found the source. The infestation has gotten worse since then. No spray or fogging has been done to date. They got their $300 up front. I've been a loyal customer for over 9 years which means I pay them routinely about $130 every other month for them to spray approximately 30 % of the perimeter of my house. Pretty easy money, right? When I make an appointment for pest control 2 weeks in advance, no one shows up. In addition, customer service just keeps making up stories. Horrible intra business communication resulting in the worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company. To top it all off, Jason the supervisor tried to be flippant about my experience as if my wasting an entire day waiting for the nonexistent tech to appear was no big deal. Clark pest control Sonora California WILL cancel your services without customer knowledge, so they will not even notify you. After 15 years of continuous service and invoices paid on time day of service each month they one day all of a sudden stopped scheduling service and only to find out services are now cancelled only because they are losing employee after employee and because they have no reliable employee to do the job and because they lost a valuable employee Austin Kuhn who walked away, wonder why !!! He was a true loyal to this company. I know many of you must be missing him. Ever since Austin quit the company they have cancelled many accounts without customers being notified I know this from other employees within the company who will tell you this. Customer service representatives are not doing their jobs and managers are even by far WORSE to help resolve the issue to reinstate a mistake they made and they dont even call you back as they will ignore all your calls, simply put because they have not one reliable employee to do the job. Our representative Chris P. was on his route and noticed our front gate had blown over from the high winds in our area (Calaveras County). He called me up and said he would rig something up to keep it closed. He also said he would check to make sure there weren't any deer before securing the large front gate. My husband and I were very appreciative of him going out of his way to make the call and securing the front gate. He wasn't even at our house doing service that day. I would highly recommend Clark Pest Control. They are very dependable and trustworthy. I'm glad we have this service for our home in the mountains. Great job Chris P!!! I have been very pleased with Clark Pest Control. We started using their services when we had mice in our attic. They came weekly and sometimes biweekly to check all the traps in the attic and around the house. Needless to say, I no longer have a rat/mice problem around my house. They even left traps for us to keep around the house. They continue to come every other month to spray for ants and spiders. We have not had an ant or spider problem since they begun their services. They sprayed my neighbors house and now I have a ton of ants and bugs on/in my house, they aren't killing them they are just pushing them up the road to the next house creating issues for others, when I asked what could be done they said "we can send out a technician to give you an estimate" for something that they caused! I've lived here a while now and never had an ant/bug issue they spray one time next door and now my house is COVERED. The manager essentially told me it happens regularly and that he would not come fix the issue. If that's the case I'd rather give my money to someone else to fix the issue that Clark's of Sonora caused. That's not good business. Kill them don't push them up the street to create new customers like you're trying to do. Just wrong. read more

When I first got this service the technician was very responsive. The office staff are responsive. The pest manager was rude and though he credited money and canceled my service at my request. Due to his lack of appropriate response, it took him months to actually connect with me and only at my calling repeatedly. He tried to charge me for a full service when they couldn't even get into my backyard which is where all my services are. Then wanted to charge me 50% for a front porch and one eve above my garage. When I stated I didn't want to pay 50% but would prefer less he said we'll just cancel your service for you and I won't charge you. This could have been handled much more appropriately and in a more timely manner. I did not want strangers in my home due to the fact of covid-19. And his response was just inappropriate. read more

I spoke to the owner of Sonora Clark. There were some communication problems that were resolved. Since I can't be near the house while it's being painted or sprayed it had to be done after the painter's left for the day. The boss himself came,latex free and with the botanical spray. He understood this was the only safe time to do it. He did a thorough spraying. Now the house can air out and be o.k. when the painter's return tomorrow. I'm grateful that it all worked out well. I've always felt that Sonora Clark has a great reputation. He showed me it's true my accommodating my special needs. Good bye bugs! read more

I have used Clark (inSonora) for 20 + years and have not had any problems with them. They notify me prior to when they come, which is only on certain days of the week because of our schedule, and are in and out in no time. One summer we were inundated with mice, gophers and voles, and they responded quickly, and took care of it. Because our dog is a weirdo, they are accommodating to our dogs' quirks, like keeping gates closed so he doesn't got on a 'walk-a-bout' as he passes through them. We used to have a neighbor who was sensitive to some of the spray they used, and they would notify the neighbor prior to spraying so she could close up her windows. When a problem arises outside of the regular service, (gnats or fruit flies), they are quick to respond; the tech (whoever it may be) calls first and comes prepared. No problems and definitely recommend them. read more

Not only did the lady answering the phone not seem to interested in helping- it's been over a week and no one has called me back to schedule a day to come out and look. I wasn't quite sure which service to choose for routine pest control and prevention on my new cabin but figured that I needed to choose one of the services in the area after discovering a family of black widow spiders living under the handle of my garbage can. Not only did Clark Pest Control send someone out the same day, he swept the spiders away and treated the entire house. Recently, I noticed a couple spiders had been living inside and despite having been out only a few days ago, the technician came right away and sprayed the interior of the house too. Horrible service !! Clark says they will come Out for A Second spray within the first 30 Days when you are a new customer, to Assure all bugs are taken care of... Well---- i Canceled routine (every 3 months) service, Bc I was able to find a cheaper service that is every 4 months vs every 3 months--- so Bc I canceled yearly service , they refuse to come Back out for their second spray! They came Literally 13 days ago--- and the bugs are just as bad! horrible small town service !! Horrible rude rude office lady as well!!!!
