We LOVE Anchor Pest Control. We have been using Anchor Pest Control for the past 3 years to come and spray our cabin/home in Arnold on a bi-monthly basis to keep the spiders and creepy crawlers at bay! This past February we were hit with a huge snow storm that snapped many of the pines in Arnold in half, due to the weight of the heavy snow load. Now those dead and dying trees are attracting the dreaded Bark Beetles. Anchor Pest to the rescue!!! We had Ryan come out first to spray all our Ponderosa/Pines to help protect them from the masses of beetles that are now active in the area. Then we had him come and inject our Pines to prevent any infestation over the next two years! He did a great job treating our trees and labeled each one individually with a numbered tag so we can keep track of when they were treated, what they were treaded with and any additional notes on the health of each individual tree. Lastly we had him "drench" fertilize all our trees, both Pines and Cedars to help keep them healthy and strong. I'm so thankful for their service and a grateful that we can be proactive to protect our trees. After all, we chose to live in the forest because we love the trees so we will do what we have to and keep them as healthy as possible. read more

The technician that came out did an awesome job! His name is Brandon and I definitely want him back if at all possible to continue our year-round maintenance of Pest Control! He went above and beyond to walk around with me while I showed him hotspots and pets water and food that needed to be moved before he would spray. Also, he was totally aware of the hummingbird feeder that needed to be moved out of the way before he sprayed. He was very courteous and listened to all of my requests and was very fast! Wow! We can't recommend this company highly enough. We called when they opened this morning about a mouse at our cabin and they sprung to action and sent someone up almost immediately. Our guests were so appreciative and said that the technician was friendly and knowledgeable. They did some exclusion work for us and hopefully it will stick. But I just can't recommend them enough. I would only call them for any pest needs. They are also very sensitive to the fact that there were children at the property and recommended remedies that weren't poisonous. read more

Today we had our first experience in person with this company and Gene, if I remember correctly (Pioneer area) , was who we got here. He came within his expected timeframe. Was extremely kind and courteous, looked at everything in depth, didn't try to push anything beyond what we were interested in. Double checked with the office multiple times (over 2 days of me questioning for different things). Just so thorough. We loved that. I've been around houses when they've been sprayed before and they just go full out, throwing caution to the wind. He picked up and moved some of the kids things out of the way from direct blast regardless of it being "safe" after it dried and my little paranoid mom heart was so grateful for that. I'm not a person who's comfortable with all this type of stuff but unfortunately it got to a point where we needed outside help. Wasps coming through the light fixtures in the kids bedrooms and stinging while they're playing, a conifer squirrel every year since we moved in 3 years ago....but this year with the wasps dropping down from above, more than before, and the widows taking over the whole place. It just sent us over the top. I would go out and kill every one widow I could find and the next day 2 popped up in the same 8 inch area. My 1 year old tried to grab 2 the other day like it would end as well as him petting the puppy . I almost forgot...The price was so wildly reasonable I just couldn't believe it. Granted I've never dealt with anything like this before but in my mind when I think "wasp removal service" in a timely fashion and then hear it's under $100, with the distance, in these times especially. We had concerns about termites in our new home in Mi Wuk after thinking we saw evidence of the pests. Norm came out within a day, walked our property with us, educated us about what to look out for, and ultimately told us our home was in great shape with no evidence of termites. Anchor Pest Control, I have had there Pest control service for 3 years now and they removed 16 ​rats from my attic and they haven't been back since. They placed rat traps in my attic and they check them once a month, no rats! Praise God! Landon is an amazing young man, he's very friendly, he calls me ahead of time to let me know the time frame he will be here and the day. Extremely informative folk. We moved to Sonora from So Cal four months ago. We gleefully transitioned from suburbia to 3 acres in the foothills. We're loving the view, the space, and the quiet. But our list of home-owner questions grew faster than we could find answers. Enter Chris and Bob from Anchor Pest Control. They walked the outside of the house with us; taught us how to spot where vermin where making entry, explained how to plug the holes, educated us on traps, and much more. Then we turned to weed control. Again, they gave us a ton of info. We really appreciated that they were intent on providing us with info we needed to manage the property, not on selling their service. We were clear early on in the discussion that we weren't ready to "call Uncle" and spray our 3 acres with glyphosate (Round Up) yet. We ruefully admitted we were going to try and handle it manually for a year and see how well we did. Which meant we wouldn't be signing up for service right now. They were totally OK with that. Ants,ants and more ants invaded the house and we called Anchor Pest Control and they responded to our message very quickly. 'TJ" called and stopped by and did a walk around and found the two ant colonies and after knocking down our cobwebs treated the exterior of the house and inside under our sink and found a trail of ants coming in from the garage and sprayed those area's also. In addition he baited and left two traps in case we had any residual ants milling around. "TJ" was very knowledgable and explained the steps he was going to do to help stop the ant infestation and was very courteous and helpful. In addition if we had any issues after 3-4 days to call back and either he or someone would come back out. So far very pleased and the ants are no more.
