I've visited this service department three times now with my Sportage, and while the…read morerepresentatives at the service desk podiums are consistently nice and deserve five stars for their attitude, the overall experience has been disappointing. There seems to have been a restructure lately that just isn't working, as the level of service has definitely slipped since 2023. The communication is very poor compared to other Kia locations that provide updates every hour; here, I'm often left in the dark. I was also never offered a courtesy ride or told when to return for my next maintenance. Most frustratingly, a manager told me they wouldn't be responsible for any damages if they washed my car. It is original Kia matte paint, so I would expect the dealership to be the one place that knows how to handle it properly. The people at the desks are great, but the management and the current process really need to improve.

Always sends me to the front desk, to be transferred over. The amount of times when I call to tell the front desk what i need they always seem to be very rude and have an attitude. They used to be great when i bought my vehicle here about 5 years ago now. Just kinda gone hill.

However, they also unplugged the electrical radiator fan because it was draining the battery by not shutting off when the car was turned off. That seemed crazy to me, but they're the professionals, so I went along with it. Sure enough, the car overheated. I still cannot believe that a professional shop thought that unplugging the fan was a good move. They fixed the issue I brought it in for, but made another issue far worse in the process and when I called about it, they made excuses. I was already getting reimbursed from Walmart for the repairs caused by their tech, otherwise I would have pursued it with this shop further. But I definitely won't let them touch any my cars in the future.

The owner told me there will be a "$50 diagnostics fee" that he said isn't really a fee and that the $50 will go towards whatever repair they do but they just call it that so you don't take it anywhere else to have it fixed after they diagnose it. They called and said they couldn't fix my vehicle and that I needed to take it to a "professional mechanic" to have it fixed. When I asked him to replace the seal at the bottom of my windshield he told me he wasn't going to because it wasn't the reason for the leak even though I requested for it to be changed due to it being almost completely deteriorated. This is the "owner" ERNEST TORRES who is telling me he won't replace it and said I still need to pay them $50 when I pick up my vehicle all so they could collect $50 for pouring water on my windshield. He Refused to do a service that I requested for that $50 to go towards. He was rude, talked over me and told me to take him to court before he hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
