You may have heard of "The Soup Nazi" but Dr. Clark is who we like to refer to as "The Tooth Nazi". His work is spectacularly good. When we first moved and had to get a new dentist, my new dentist demanded to know who had done my fillings because it was some of the best work he'd ever seen. That day, he called him to talk to him about his technique for fillings.
Where Dr. Clark struggles is with chair-side manners. It isn't too terrible with patients, although my wife and I both had a couple of interesting episodes. The biggest problem I had was how he interacted with his staff. He's got a passion for teeth and he's a perfectionist (which I guess is a good thing) but he demands that perfection from his staff and on more than one occassion had one of them in tears over something. That's just not cool.
So if you want the best possible work done, he's probably a good choice, but try not to take anything too personally. Eventually, we had to leave and of course when we did, he wanted to charge to transfer the records to another local dentist... which is also not cool. read more
