Recently, when my local shop contacted the warranty company, they were told the vehicle must be serviced at the selling dealer unless that dealer declines the repair. When I contacted Herb Chambers Lexus, I was told they would not decline it and that the work had to be done through them -- which contradicts what I was told at purchase. I was then told that "any Herb Chambers location" could service it. However, my local Herb Chambers dealership informed me they do not have the equipment to diagnose this brand and referred me back to Lexus. To add to the frustration, I was initially told I would receive a loaner vehicle for the inconvenience, only to be called back 10 minutes later and told that was a mistake. This has been a disappointing experience due to inconsistent information and lack of clarity about the warranty terms. Buyers should make sure they get warranty usage details in writing before purchasing. I will say the buying experience was nice and easy, with the exception of the misinformation

They said it would be $155 and ready between 4 and 5 PM. Never called us so we had to call them. They said the car was ready and it was really dirty. OK. When she went to pick up the car, they told us it was $225. She asked why it was suddenly 50%+ more and they said "your car was really dirty". She said yeah you're probably right I have two dogs but if you're going to increase someone's price by over 50%, that's worthy of a conversation. She agreed to pay them 200 but not a penny more. They were Jerks.

Both the owner and the junior guy inspected my car. The junior guy showed me the comps. I asked if could go higher based on the data points. He said it was out of his control and he needed to ask the owner who was helping a couple at the time. The owner (think his name is Charles) proceeded to scream at me that the offer is the offer, essentially a take it or leave it. Very confusing and rude. I told them the blinker issue was more than just simply adjusting the wiring, as other car mechanics had tried to fix them by maneuvering the wiring. They had my car for an entire day just to have me pick it up and not only did they not fix one blinker, when I informed them that they did not fix the blinker, they told me that it would only take five minutes to fix it. Hence, they did exactly what I told them not to do. They had my car an entire day and charged me $189 to do what other car mechanics were doing for free. They then told me the entire car would have to be rewired for $2000, when I bought the car for $5000. I would never go back to this Nissan

I've owned bmw's for many years and wish I had David as my mechanic the whole time. I dropped my car off on Sunday night at the shop after going over some things about my BMW a few days prior with David. I had never met David before, but I've heard good things so I winged it and dropped it off. He called me back on Monday and went over everything with me and he was very thorough and he explained everything so I could understand it. I picked my car up on Tuesday with full knowledge about my car, everything he fixed and what to watch out for in the future per David's suggestions. The pricing was more than fair, but more importantly, where can you go these days and get an honest job done? I will not be bringing my BMW anywhere else. I would highly suggest Foreign Motorcars. You get the straight scoop from David and his work is fantastic.

When shopping for cars of this caliber, you expect to be treated professionally without the sales pitch and nonsense we've all experienced in car-buying. Buying a 6 digit car out of State can be daunting as there's many unknowns but Jamie immediately made it apparent that I was dealing with the right person. I knew after my initial call with her that I'd be buying a car from her. Jamie was responsive, patient and more importantly willing to be attentive to my needs. She provided me with everything from high resolution pictures to the specs on the brake pads. Jamie was open and up front; the exact opposite of what car sales has evolved into. I can't tell you how many dealers in the Washington DC area I've been to where you get sized up by a sales person who won't shut up. Jamie understands this market and the buyers in this segment.
