It takes me a while to post a review for massage and physical therapy, because I need to see…read moreresults! I have a troublesome Levator scapulae, caused by working too much hunched forward. It eventually (about every two years) needs to be sorted! Thanks to Centerline Physical Therapy (or IPT) for a few great things. Your facility: it's clean, spacious and great parking outside. You also open at 8am so it's great to get in before the traffic mayhem. Your team: after initially being reviewed by Craig Cohen who reaffirmed the issue, Manuel Lacayo took over in a weekly session covering a wholistic approach from my neck, shoulders, front and back upper torso, moving down the entire back. Manuel listens, and talks you through what he is doing. He is also game for your own music selection during the therapy session. The result: I am three weeks in, and 95% whole, so I can move from weekly to every few weeks! Pain is gone, and I have my homework to keep things in check. I really recommend this facility and team for those of us stuck in from of laptops and PC's all day, and get tense pain in the neck and shoulders. Nice work team!

I should be dead, or warehoused in a nursing home. BUT, I found Michael Griggs at IPT and after only a couple of years I am alive and thriving. Michael is the GOAT, he knows when to push, even better, he knows when to pull back. Thanks to the fantastic people at IPT, while I am not the kid I used to be, I am thriving. I attribute all of my success to the expertise, determination, personal consideration for MY needs, and simple human decency of people like Michael and everyone at Integrated Physical Therapy. They can't be beat.

I've gone to her 4x now and I definitely feel like she has helped my body get back on track. I know this is a journey getting my body to heal itself but Jules is compassionate and understanding. She listens to your needs and tries to help however she can. After she places the acupuncture needles you just let the soothing music relax you and I always find myself falling asleep. I feel relaxed after every session. I would recommend this place to anyone that is suffering from PCOS and wants to try natural route. Parking is not an issue. They have free street parking or a parking lot behind.

She has a technician named Jana who does non-laser removal, and she has an amazing touch. I have gotten laser once and even with all of the numbing cream in the world... you still want to squeal. This was much different. Julie has also helped me in the past with some recurring issues regarding my lower back, as expected from having two bicycle accidents courtesy of cars. She has a nice, empathic touch with her needles, and is a caring practitioner. Quite easily my favorite acupuncturist in the Miami Shores and North Miami area. I will also be updating this review as my tattoo starts disappearing.

Ashley, my massage therapist, is not only one of the sweetest people I have ever met, but she is…read morebeyond knowledgeable when it comes to what you need in terms of a deep tissue massage. She starts off by asking you questions. If you suffer from any type of pain, whether you work out, what you do for work, past activities that might have contributed to current injuries, practically a vocal physical. Then she will explain the process of what she will be doing to improve every area that you have a concern with and she will do her best to make sure you leave feeling like a brand new person. The table she uses is one of a kind, climate controlled and everything. She'll adjust the table height, the temperature, set the lights and queue the zen music which absolutely puts you in to a trance. For an hour and a half, as a first timer, it was a combination of pain followed by relaxation. The pain slowly disappears as she continues to work on the tense muscles and injured areas. When the pain does kick in, she will make sure to take that pain in to account, check on you, and walk you through deep breathing to help with the pain. Needless to say, once she was done, I felt better then I had in a very long time. Ashley then proceeded to tell me the areas she recognized needed more attention and even told me about areas I was unaware of. She also told me what I would be able to do on my own to improve my body recommending certain types of creams and even recommending acupuncture with the doctor who owns the wellness clinic for further evaluation on troubled areas. Fair warning, this isn't cheap, but anything that works well usually is and this was definitely worth it. Ashley did an amazing job and was more then professional. I'd recommend her to anyone looking to feel better physically and even mentally.

So I was trekking around the county searching for a Traditional Chinese medicine store or another acupuncturist that might have the medicine I was looking for, which is how I found this place. After realizing that they did not have the medicine I was looking for, I was about to leave. But the Acupuncturist asked to see my tongue( a diagnostic technique) which I obliged. He asked me some other questions and he replied with generic yang deficiency answers. Then he offered me something else, an over priced yin based medicine, coupled with some over priced powdered mixed herbs he put together. I said what the hell, he seems to know what he is talking about more or less, so I tried them. After I left I tried the bottled yin based medicine he sold me. Within 10 minutes of taking the pills, I felt sick , dizzy and weak, the symptoms lasted for two days. The more expensive herb concoction that I paid $20.00 for, I threw in the garbage. There was no way in hell I was going to try it,after the bottle of pills he sold me made me that sick. But I am not an idiot, I know a little about Chinese traditional medical theory and practice. At the least I should have phoned my acupuncturist and asked her about this medicine he gave me. But I did not, and I paid the price for it, being sick, dizzy and weak for two days, with needle like sensations all over my body. If I need serious Yang medicine, it does not make sense for him to suggest a yin based medicine, that is idiotic. But again I should have known better, plus he was not Chinese, which I am sure contributed to him not being expert on his craft. Which is one of the main reasons why exclusively see acupuncturists of Chinese descent.
