Over a period of several years I broke my back, then my hip, then a surgical mishap (wrong drug was used) caused me to collapse and break my femur. I should be dead, or warehoused in a nursing home. It takes me a while to post a review for massage and physical therapy, because I need to see results! I have a troublesome Levator scapulae, caused by working too much hunched forward. It eventually (about every two years) needs to be sorted! Thanks to Centerline Physical Therapy (or IPT) for a few great things. Your facility: it's clean, spacious and great parking outside. You also open at 8am so it's great to get in before the traffic mayhem. Your team: after initially being reviewed by Craig Cohen who reaffirmed the issue, Manuel Lacayo took over in a weekly session covering a wholistic approach from my neck, shoulders, front and back upper torso, moving down the entire back. Manuel listens, and talks you through what he is doing. He is also game for your own music selection during the therapy session. The result: I am three weeks in, and 95% whole, so I can move from weekly to every few weeks! Pain is gone, and I have my homework to keep things in check. I really recommend this facility and team for those of us stuck in from of laptops and PC's all day, and get tense pain in the neck and shoulders. Nice work team! read more

IPT was leap and bounds better than the other 2 PT centers I visited in the past to address post surgery and/or injury rehabilitation. From the ease of making an appt for my very first visit, to checking my verifying my insurance benefits, to accommodating appt rescheduling, IPT staff was great. The entire staff is very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need; the center is very clean; and one can spread up easily on the floor space. The therapists are amazing in terms of their practical knowledge, approach, people skills, humor, and genuine care for the patients. I have been taking my daughter to get acupuncture treatment with Andrea Orvieto for about 2 months. She is amazing, very professional, caring, soft spoken, and gets results done! Very professional and relaxing. While I'm not impressed with the idea of going to physical therapy, I am impressed by the quality of care provided at Integrated Physical Therapy. When given the choice to go to a outpatient rehabilitation hospital for therapy, I was consumed with thoughts of my grandparents in various stages of severe disability. I didn't think this would motivate me much. Instead, I opted for this free standing, independently owned facility. Boy am I glad I did. I've worked with most of the physical therapists here. All of them have been pleasant, motivating and just all around encouraging. I highly recommend this facility. If you gotta' go to rehab, I say Go, Go, Go...........here! I had the best experience getting acupuncture and cupping from Andrea Orvieto. I am pretty new to these kinds of treatments, but she made me feel super comfortable and I knew I was in the best hands. Excellent experience. My therapist Yuliet is very professional and caring. I came to her with some serious rigidity issues since I have early onset Parkinson's. I went here in a lot of back pain and after working very hard have got my aches and pain under control. Luan, lucia or any of the physical therapist are very competent. A few months ago I injured myself while at the gym. I was looking for specialists on myofascial release and came across IPT. After meeting Craig and a first massage, I was hooked. From then on, I had Rhonda as my therapist. She has been wonderful. Over the weeks, my injuries healed and I recovered lost range of motion. She carefully treated the origin of the problem as opposed to simply massaging painful areas. I was impressed how easily she could find trigger points. I was also given a few exercises to continue the healing process at home, which I did. This is a good place to heal. The environment is friendly and staff is courteous. I have gotten back pain that gradually became worse and worse. I had finally went to doctors and found out that I have so many things wrong with my back. I feel so strongly about the experience and results I got from IPT, that I wanted to take the time to express them in detail in hope that the review may help someone in a similar situation. I am an active 50+ woman, I exercise regularly, have a stressful desk job and I have had lower back pain in excess of one year. I was absolutely miserable. The pain extended from my lower back down the front of my leg into my knee, it kept me up at night, I suffered every day at work, which affected my mood and ability to focus on my work. I couldn't sit through a movie, didn't feel like traveling or planning active trips because of the pain. It progressively got worse. When the mere bend of my head to brush my teeth gave me pain down my back and leg and driving to work and accelerating on the gas pedal made me nearly cry with pain, I knew it was time to do something. I started with a chiropractor/physical therapist, who I knew and trusted, I took anti-inflammatories from my nutritionist, 8 Advil a day, stretch classes, acupuncture, etc., I wore flat shoes, and bought a standing desk (as I sit nearly 8-10 hours a day at work). I saw an orthopedic surgeon and finally took an MRI , which indicated 2 herniated discs and bulging disc. I finally felt vindicated, that there was obviously something physical condition that was causing such discomfort. I was told repeatedly, that it may just get better in time. I was basically told that physical therapy would not help. I could not get a definitive answer anywhere as to the cause or how to get better. Surgery just seemed to be the simple solution. I was told to get an epidural on more than one occasion because of the discomfort I felt each day. I did not really like the idea of the epidural nor surgery, so I tried to seek other holistic remedies. However, I was still in pain. At a visit to another orthopedic surgeon, I got a prescription for the epidural and I was going to just do it, since nothing else helped. As luck would have it, I had to reschedule the appointment. In the interim, I ran into a dear friend who highly recommended that I see Craig Cohen at IPT. She had seen others benefit greatly from his therapy. I saw Craig Cohen on Oct 19, 2016. I was unfamiliar with the type of therapy he did, I did not know what to expect. However, after a one hour session, I knew everything had changed for me. For the first time in nearly a year, I felt like I turned a corner. Don't get me wrong, the pain was still there, but something was different. The first visit clearly revealed his deep understanding of the body in a pure holistic approach. He was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He was certain he could help me. I trusted my friend's recommendation and my instinct, so I continued to see Craig two times a week. Craig's ability to understand the body and its interconnection, the function, the association of mind body and soul was extraordinary. His talent in myofascial therapy takes mainstream medicine and turns it on its head. If it did not happen to me personally, I'm not sure I would believe it. His deep understanding of the body, how stress affects the functionality of the body and his extraordinary skill and professionalism in performing Myofascial release therapy has truly changed my life. I kept quiet for weeks, until I was certain it was true. After each session, which was different every single time, I kept feeling better. I noticed I wasn't taking as much Advil, the pain I was feeling each and every day in everything that I did was subsiding. On Dec. 4, 2016, 6 1/2 weeks from my first visit with Craig, I took my normal spinning class and a body sculpting class and for the first time in nearly a year, I did not have any pain! I marked that milestone in my calendar. It made me realize the extraordinary relation of the choices and situations in one's life that also affect the physical being.
