Great pick for a simple getaway! This is our second time in the area, we previously stayed at the Hampton Inn but our experience at Clarion Inn was better, and cheaper all around. The big selling point for me was the price and fact that it was recently renovated. We stayed for two nights, Tuesday July 5 to 7th and had zero issues overall. We checked in late and there was no wait, the hotel felt empty. Our room was 254 which is a corner unit on the second floor and easily accessible from the outside. At first I thought this was a bad sign that we had to reach our room from outside stairs but this was actually a shortcut and made coming in and out a lot easier. We were able to park just steps away from the door. The lobby was clean and presentable, staff was friendly. The room was nice and modern. Bathroom had a large shower instead of a tub and huge counter for the sink which I enjoyed. Bed doesn't seem to have a new mattress, it felt soft and sunken in at times, but the furniture, tv, carpeting and everyhting else in our room was modern. I asked for some extra shampoo at one point and the girl at the front counter was so nice, she offered me extra items if I wanted - they have everything in stock free of charge if ever you need deodorant, toothpaste, toobrushes, shower caps, etc, feel free to ask! Since we stayed on weekdays the entire property felt empty, I think we came across just two other guests during our stay. No noise at night, no noise in hallways - it was amazing. When we were there, the complimentary breakfast was pretty basic, there's coffee, juices, milk, yogourt, some fruits, cereal, muffins/granola bars and a pancake and waffle maker. The pancake maker was really cool, since it is an automated machine. Just place a plate under and with the push of a button, 2 pancackes will be made fresh and rolled out for you. I wish there were hot food items like eggs, sausage or bacon, but I guess with covid and with how empty the hotel was during our stay, it might not make sense to offer these items. (I recently read that the hotel does offer these hot breakfast items, but maybe just on weekends??) My suggestion would be to have at least some hard boiled eggs, these could be kept in the same fridge as the yogourt and can stay good for a few days so it would reduce waste (as opposed to scrambled eggs/omelettes). Note that there is a 99 restaurant located on this property so if ever you want to order something quick for lunch or supper, it's super convenient. I would come back, great value and great experience as a whole. read more

I was having a "tolerable" stay aside from the light bulbs being weak and half of them not turning on, as well as the floors creaking so badly that every time I walk it feels like the floor is going to cave in. The front desk people seemed decently nice until a couple days later when I got a call from a new front desk lady. She called me early in the morning in the nastiest, rudest way, telling me I never paid for the room. This was completely wrong, as other front desk staff before her had already confirmed that I did. I didn't argue with her once or raise my voice, but I guess my calm tone irritated her and she kept talking over me on the phone, so I went downstairs to confirm in person. She said, "Nope, nope... oh wait, let me check. Never mind, you did pay." She did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake at all. I'm guessing it's because I'm black and have mostly kept to myself since I've been here. Pretty disgusting. Anyway, the lobby is very nice and updated. The rooms do look like the pictures, but they're somewhat over-exaggerated. There are stains under the blankets when you pull them back, and the TV does not have Netflix, which may or may not matter to some people. The shower pressure is also very low and doesn't really get that hot. The toilet barely flushes, almost like it's clogged. The room is also extremely dim, as I mentioned earlier. Opening the window for sunlight isn't really an option either because the windows are awkwardly placed in the hallway area, so if you open them, anyone walking through the hallway can see straight into your room. And lastly, there is no elevator. That wasn't an issue for me personally, but it might be for others. read more

This is a dirty hotel. I've been to a lot of hotels and this one is the worst. I checked into my hotel late at 2am and was charged full price. Price line said it was clean and that is not what I seen. The one bed had a stain on it, it was not spit, not lotion, and it wasn't a snot stain... you don't have to guess to hard. It was disgusting. What was bad about this is housekeeping has to make up the bed and instead of cleaning this the elect to leave it. 172/ a night and your housekeeping can't clean? Sad hotel. Disgusting hotel. Late check in i do not want to deal with changing hotel rooms. Woke up itching and jumped into the shower immediately. Dirty hotel. When I talked with the manager about getting compensation for my stay he wanted me to come back and spend more money at his dirty hotel for 80 a night... isn't that regular price? Horrible. Do not spend your family vacation here. No elevator either. read more

I've stayed in hotels twice the price that weren't half as nice as this Clarion Inn. Thank you, Vito and staff for a wonderful stay. The hotel was recently renovated and there are lots of little touches to create an enjoyable experience. When you arrive, the lobby is bright and festive. We recently updated our master bathroom and I was delighted to see the very same modern shower doors which I know are expensive. Breakfast buffet was great and much appreciated. My stay was decent but I should have called the front desk for help with a couple of issues. First, the thermostat was set to 66 in late March /early spring which is too cold. I didn't find the thermostat until morning, so I was cold when I got out of bed. (The controls on the wall unit don't work). Also, I couldn't figure out how to use blackout drapes so people could see in my room all night. Also, the lamp by the door was broken, so the only light was by the bed. The good news is that for $99 a night, you get an updated room with a big tv. The continental breakfast is just cereal, muffins, juice and coffee. Not great. I wish they had some protein! Coffee kind of sucked. No dark roast. One more thing : I asked the night attendant ( I checked in at 11:30 pm) if the room had USB charging ports and he said No. So I didn't run out to my car to get the cable. But there are several charging ports! So I had to run back out to my car. What a pain. read more

We stayed here due to location and good price, plus they provide breakfast! It is a two story building with no elevator. You must be able to travel stairs but they are wide and carpeted. I'm sure the desk clerk would help if needed, or give you 1st floor. At check-in, there were delicious chocolate-chip warm cookies and iced cucumber water! The room was larger than normal and had a microwave and coffee maker. It still had a telephone and Introductory binder with notpad and pens! Everything was clean, but there was a strong perfume. Now the bad parts: The place is not that attractive. The carpeting in the hall and stairs had dirty spots. The spartan furnishings are gray-brown. The room-darkening blind was too long and so crumpled and had holes. The shower was very weak (common) and the toilet flush can't handle much. The paper products seemed like recycled newspaper. TV and internet were fine. The AC sound was actually good because it was consistent but...we woke up Hot several times because it seemed to shut itself off! Still, we both slept pretty well. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast had less options than HIE has. I had miniwaffles and Partner had the prefab scrambled eggs and sausage. Coffee was fine and the juice dispenser had tasty peach-citrus. Otherwise there were yogurts and apples, bread and english muffins. So, there were some niceties and some dated things. read more

Things here have improved so much I'm delited. The cigarette smell is finally gone, the renovations are FANTASTIC they finally improved the lightng. Bathroom is nice but there's a bit of a drainage issue. Nice clean room. read more

I have stayed here before and it was all good but do NOT let them put you in room 239 whatever is in the storage closet Nextdoor is soooooo loud every time it turns on you will go deaf when you're awake and never be able to sleep when it is time if it's running!!! Giving this spot a solid four stars for many reasons, first of which being the friendly and helpful front desk staff. Check in was a little slow, but easy. Hotel is really a 2 star upgraded to a 3 star with a new renovation of rooms. Beds were comfy, pillows not so much. Pool was clean and pleasant. Only issues were hallway noise (doors didn't help much), and not having an AC that would stay consistently on which would have helped with noise. read more

We definitely did enjoy out stay at the Clarion Inn the swimming pool here the nicest and cleanest pool we have seen and we have been to 100 hotels in the NH area. The room was a bit on the smaller side. But it wasn't a big deal to us. The bathroom was beautiful. And we loved the shower. They do not have a laundry room on site. But a laundry matt up the road not too far from the hotel. But they do have free breakfast which was good and the third shift lady that was working the night we stayed 8/11/23 & 8/12/23 was very nice she went above and beyond to make our stay that much better. My family had a late check in (11:15-11:30pm). Upon arrival I immediately turned on the air conditioner and the refrigerator and began to unpack my luggage. I decided to take a shower and when I was finished I discovered that the air conditioner wasn't working and the room temperature was 79 degrees. It was quite late at this point and I didn't want to wake up my family by calling the front desk to change rooms. I attempted to sleep but had difficulty because of the heat. I decided to grab a cold drink and discovered that the refrigerator was broken as well. Upon checking out in the morning I alerted the front desk about the issues in my room. I was told that I should have said something the night before but that he would have management contact me. I checked out on Sunday and still hadn't received a response by Wednesday so I contacted the hotel and was told again by a different employee that I should have said something immediately. I was told that management would contact me and that still hasn't happened as of Thursday. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure and this has to be one of the most negative hotel stays I've experienced. read more

Don't book here. Hotel is gross - described as non-smoking but smells like it was smoked in for 500 years and they just stopped allowing it. Room photos are deceiving, they may have redone rooms but the rest of hotel is a mess and it smells. Bed wasn't very padded and felt springy and it made me itch like I was being bitten. Staff is rude and unaccommodating. Management doesn't care about issues or resolving them. Was in town for a funeral - literally in the room for 20 minutes before falling asleep after a long day, woke up to complain how gross it was and check out for the second night but they wouldn't refund our money and didn't care that we didn't like the accommodations. Said - sorry we have a 24 hour cancelation policy...but we hadn't even booked the room 24 hours ago so it would have been impossible to cancel and get a refund. Overall I would describe this as a run-down crack house hotel that books at the same rate as any other acceptable clean accommodation. Wouldn't stay there again if you paid me the rate they charge x3. read more

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating when we noticed a buzzing sound coming from our air conditioner. The air conditioner tech couldn't come out until the next day so they moved us to another room. This room is much better. Shout out to Bri and Floyd for the help! read more

I stayed there for a few nights while visiting Nashua NH. Barely a 2 star hotel. Under construction, so the parking lot is a mess with caution tape, hand lettered signs and concrete bricks blocking off parking spots. No elevator. NO elevator. So, this 60+ woman humped her bags up a flight and a half of stairs. A weak "we'll help you if you want" was whispered. The room was clean and decent but smelled of smoke. $190 a night; yes, you read that right. $190. No pool. Ice machine? Precisely one....in the bowels of the building, with poor signage to boot. Breakfast was crappy cold cereal with cheap muffins and unripe fruit. I left something behind. I spoke with the desk on Monday evening. They readily agreed to overnight the item. It's now Wednesday night. I called the hotel. The person who answered, the assistant manager, said she was personally planning to overnight the item. Tomorrow. Thus, an item I expected to be overnighted no later than Tuesday morning will now (I hope) arrive Friday. And I get to pay for that. So, now, I've been on hold with Corporate for 20 minutes. There are 16 ahead of me, I suspect with similar complaints. The "if you would like an agent to call you back press one" message came on. Despite 6 tries, it did not recognize my phone number. So here I sit. There was a Motel 6 down the road. That's where I'll be next time. read more

FIRST AND LAST TIME!!!!! I will have a "one night" stay at the Clarion Inn located at 10 St Laurent St, Nashua, NH 03064. (603) 883-7700. On Friday, May 27, 2022, I called the hotel and spoke to a manager name Carrie who claimed to have been working there for about 8 years and has recently became a manager. She has nursing experience and experience working with pediatric as she stated. Carrie seemed extremely nice and sweet at the beginning. Little did we know, the great experience had done a 180 immediately. May 27, 2022, my wife and I went in to book a "one night" stay for Saturday, May 28 to Sunday check out May 29 with Carrie in person. We emphasized that we only needed "one night". I don't know what was going on in her mind but clearly she heard what she wanted to hear and ended up booking us for Friday into Saturday instead of Saturday into Sunday. Carrie explained to me over the phone how she can book it Friday so that we can have the rate for tomorrow (Saturday). My wife went to the hotel to check in on May 28, 2022, and the key didn't work. The key had been locked since the night we booked was supposedly over. After my wife went to the front desk and explained to the clerk how it was supposed to be for Saturday check-in and Sunday check-out, the clerk explained she will pass on the info to her manager so they can get this fixed. Carrie told me while we argued over the phone "this is my hotel, I am giving you an option". Carrie told me if I wanted to, I can pick up and go elsewhere. I demanded for her General Manager's name and number. Carrie refused to provide me with the information at first and eventually ended up giving me his name which is Purzish Patel her general manager's name. Carrie told me Patel will not be in until Monday, May 30, 2022, at 11AM. Carrie made it stern that she was going to charge me for the second night and how unfortunate it was. Carrie has no idea on how to take ownership of her mistakes and honor what was emphasized in person during a conversation regarding a one-night stay that was CLEARLY EXPLAINED FACE TO FACE.
