My legs bitten with flea bites.

Less than one star if I could. We were eaten alive by fleas, the next morning I woke up with a rash on my legs! When we spoke to management we were told we weren't wanted here and even though we had a reservation for another night, we would not be receiving a refund and that my legs were just like that. This place needs to be shut down by the health department. It's disgusting. We won't be back and I will continue to help them because the photos we have are endless. Don't stay! Stay away!!!!!!

WE booked this hotel on 5/6-5/7/22 for a local date night. We booked through Travelocity. Per our request, they accommodated an early check in at noon. We checked in by about 12:30pm. Upon walking down the hallway to our room, we were displeased to find a fire extinguisher glass case had been busted, and there were shards of broken glass all over the floor a few feet from our room entrance. Outside of our window, there were two homeless individuals with a dog, looking in our window. Once getting settled in our room after a few minutes, a huge moth, about 2 inches long, flew out from behind the curtain! My husband killed it, and we thought that it was creepy, but figured we could look past one moth getting into the room. We got some lunch door-dashed to the room, and by 3pm, we saw TWO MORE MOTHS fly out from behind the curtain!! At that point, I was really grossed out, and could not imagine what would be flying around our room once we turned the lights off to sleep later that night. By 3:30pm, we decided to check out. We went down to the lobby and spoke with Nelson at the front desk to express our concerns. We also told him that would could not stay here due to the pest problem. He stated that the manager who could determine whether or not we got a refund was not there at the time, but offered to call him. After he had a conversation on the phone with the manager, "Ed", he told us that the manager stated he wanted to speak to us to "apologize" later and that they would refund the room. Nelson stated that he was not authorized to do this and that ED would take care o fit later. He assured me that Ed would call me back in the next 60-90 minutes. Ed never called me back to apologize or address the refund. I called the hotel at about 7pm, at which time, Nelson answered and stated that Ed was gone for the weekend and would be returning on Monday to "make a determination on the refund." This was highly frustrating for two reasons. First, we has already verbally been promised a refund. Second, the manager did not feel that guests of his hotel were important enough for follow up, but instead was eager to get started on his weekend. I received a call around noon on Monday, 3 days after our bad experience at the hotel. The caller identified himself as "Ed", the hotel manager. He apologized, but didn't sound like he meant it, as he made excuses for everything, including the following... "We can't help it if someone vandalized our fire extinguisher" "We can't help it if a couple of moths fly into the rooms" "What do you expect from a room priced around $100 a night?" He then stated that he would not be providing a refund, as "the room looked used" according to housekeeping. Of course it looked "used". We had already unpacked and had lunch as we has planned on staying the night there until the attack of the locust started happening. We would have stayed if it were not for the bugs. It was absolutely disgusting. Not to mention, there were holes in the carpet and stains on the window valance which resembled blood. Ed said that he was sorry to hear about my "opinion" of the place. I explained that it was not my "opinion" that there were bugs, it was a fact. It was not my opinion that there was broken glass in the hallway, it was a fact. It was not my opinion that there were holes in the carpet, it was a fact. I then proceeded to explain that I would never again utilize this hotel, including for work parties and meetings (my employer has used this hotel before for banquets). I also told him that I would be spreading the word on all review sites to let others know how they run their business. He then stated that I was "blackmailing" him into refunding my money. I explained that it is not blackmailing, as he already denied my refund. I was simply telling others about my experience, which I am entitled to do, in hopes that others may avoid this nightmare of a hotel. If you value cleanliness, customer services, and a pest-free environment, steer clear of this establishment.

We checked in after a fun day at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and everything was smooth and welcoming. After heading out for dinner, a widespread power outage hit the area. Unfortunately, the hotel was affected as well. We waited for a couple of hours hoping the power would come back on, but eventually decided to check out. The outage itself wasn't anyone's fault, and that's not why I'm writing this review. What stood out to me was how the hotel staff handled an unexpected situation that was completely beyond their control. A special thank you to Maddie (or Madelyn) at the front desk. She was juggling what I'm sure was a very stressful evening, yet she remained patient, professional, and genuinely kind to everyone she helped. It's easy to provide good service when everything is going smoothly--it's much harder when things go wrong. She handled it with grace, and it did not go unnoticed. Thank you to Maddie and the rest of the team for doing your best under difficult circumstances. Wishing you all much calmer days ahead!

So many things went wrong during our stay. I booked through a third-party website (Vio), but upon…read morearrival, the hotel informed me that Vio had only sent over a reservation for one king bed. When I contacted Vio, they never confirmed that information had been communicated correctly to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel staff made no effort to resolve the issue and offered no apology for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the front desk host simply handed us our room keys with no directions or explanation about the property. He also failed to provide the breakfast vouchers that were supposedly included with our reservation, forcing me to return to the front desk to ask for them myself. The following morning at checkout, I asked about breakfast and was told it had already closed at 11 a.m. No one had informed us where breakfast was served or what the operating hours were. We rushed to the restaurant, where Lia kindly greeted us. She asked for our breakfast vouchers, only to discover we were supposed to have one voucher per person or have the number of guests documented on the voucher. Thankfully, after verifying the situation, Lia still allowed us to take breakfast to go. She was the only staff member throughout our stay who was genuinely kind and helpful. Overall, the staff -- including the manager -- came across as rude and dismissive. We were also placed in an ADA room that I never requested. Not only were we shorted a bed, but the room itself felt old and poorly maintained. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were completely flat. Because it was an ADA room, the shower had no ledge to contain the water, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood every time we showered. When I brought this concern to the manager's attention, I was told this was "normal" and that there should have been a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor -- there wasn't. The only drain was inside the shower area itself. Additionally, another family member in our group booked directly through the hotel by phone and was promised both a rollaway bed and breakfast. Upon arrival, they were told neither was included because it was not listed on the confirmation. As a result, our kids had to sleep on the floor. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.

When I first walked in the room, I could immediately smell that it had been cleaned yet it did not give off any chemical smell - I am very sensitive to chemical odors and can get headaches from them. The sheets, linens, shower, and surfaces all appeared very clean. The only minus, which is why I took away a star, was some of the utensils in my kitchen area had very visible food remnants on them and one of the knives had a large thumbprint, so I made sure to take utensils from the breakfast area instead and did not feel comfortable using any of the dish-ware or drink-ware either, given the state of the utensils. This was very gross but overall I was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and made check in a breeze. The spaciousness of the room itself was wonderful and I found everything to be very comfortable. I had been able to pick out my room in advance on the app and chose a corner room on the top floor - it was very quiet despite it's proximity to the freeway. The room was dark overall but the only issue was the outlet in the bathroom had a nightlight built in which could not be turned off! I had to stack a couple things in front of it to block out the light that was very close to the bed. I stayed at 3 hotels on my fall break trip and this one had by far the best quality and best variety of free breakfast options. I really appreciate having this. As a young single woman, I felt very safe in the neighborhood when walking into the hotel late at night. I hadn't realized when booking the hotel that it was actually across the street from the apartments my brother and his family used to live in - so I knew upon arrival it was a very safe area. I would absolutely stay here again and felt the value was there for the price I paid.

The tub had holes on the side that need to be fixed. There were also some type of brown spots all over the shower walls and curtain. The bathroom door was disgustingly filthy also. The outside wasn't too bad, but they had boards hanging with wire from the balcony, very tacky! The walls must be very thin because we got a call from the office that our TV was too loud, and we could barely hear it. Strange! The free breakfast was simple, but good. The room was huge! It had a cute little kitchen setup with a dining table, a comfy corner couch in the living area, and two separate bedrooms, which made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. One room had a queen bed, a good-sized closet with wired shelving, and a super spacious bathroom with the sink area outside the bathroom, always a win when you're trying to get ready without fighting over space. The second bedroom had a king bed, its own walk-in shower, and the same setup with the sink outside the bathroom and open to the room, which made it super easy to multitask (aka watch TV while doing my makeup). The space overall was clean, functional, and comfortable. But my biggest complaint? That awful showerhead. It was grimy, leaking, and had the weakest water pressure. Definitely a letdown in an otherwise great room.... especially when a good shower is one of my top hotel priorities. The bathroom had the potential to be a vibe, but the shower situation totally killed it.

The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. There were a couple of times we had a lot of clarifying questions and they never made us feel like we were annoying them. Even when we checked out, I double checked the pet fee after having paid and left already. They had accidentally overcharged me, as I had stayed for less time than the price I had paid. I called them up to inquire about it, and they were able to resolve the issue and refunded me the difference. Overall, the hotel was pretty clean for accommodating pets. I think this hotel seems to have a lot of smells from food that people bring it or of cleaning products. Even in our room, it seemed the room held on to smells for a long time, and despite having the air circulating or the window open, it was hard to get rid of the scents. It also seems other reviewers have mentioned some bedbug or other creepy crawly concerns, but we did not see any for the whole month we were there. We had a studio sort of room, so it was a large space that included the bed, a small living room with the couch, dining table, and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a microwave that also can be an oven, an electric stove, and a nice sized refrigerator. They include the basic utensils for eating and cooking, bowls, plates, cups, mugs, pans, pots, colander. There is a coffee maker, as well. They provide you with dishwashing soap but it is not of great quality as it doesn't bubble. There is no sponge they provide to wash your dishes. They do have some dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher they also have in the unit. It seems they do not do room service unless you specifically request/schedule for it. It's probably because they have pets and they need you to have your pet out of the room when they service it. Parking is free, and they provide you with a parking pass to leave on your dashboard. They have a 24/7 gym with a few key equipment, including 2 ellipticals, 1 stationary bike, 1 non-functioning Peloton bike, 3 treadmills, bench for weights, back extension. They have wipes to clean the equipment, a water jug, and towels for your convenience. There is complimentary breakfast. It starts at 6:30 am on the weekdays, 7 am on the weekends. They have someone making custom ready-to-order omelets. They have the standard coffee and tea (coffee runs out pretty quickly in the morning since this is a busy hotel for working guets), scrambled eggs (one plain, one with veggies), sausage or bacon, potatoes, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, breads. There is a bar with a happy hour as well, but they do not have a sit-down restaurant here. Fortunately, there are many restaurants close by in Downtown Pleasant Hill. Other amenities include meeting rooms, a pool, basketball court. Overall, it was a pretty solid experience at Hyatt House!

We stayed here for one night this past weekend on Saturday…read more7/11/26 and while the room was just fine, it was my front desk experience with Jacob that was completely off putting. I booked this through Marriott Bonvoy and I expect a certain level of customer service when I stay at these properties. What I got was frankly just the opposite. Let me preface this by saying that I had forgotten my Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant AMEX Card at home. In the rush of packing up, I had transferred some of my cards and ID into another handbag. Sometimes you just forget these things as we all have these "human" moments. I didn't anticipate it would be a huge deal as Jacob said that I could just input my card number from my account if I was able to read it off. I logged into my account and for online security, I was only able to obtain the last 5 digits. I proceeded to call customer service on speaker phone to see if I could obtain the entire card number. It was during this phone call that I could clearly see that Jacob was starting to get annoyed. He remained quiet but his energy changed. He went from being polite to staring at me with almost an "flippant" tone. I was on hold with the agent while they tried to see how we could resolve the situation. She was not able to give me my card number for security reasons and asked if it would have been possible to use Apple Pay. Apple Pay is *not* supported by this property so this was not going to be an option for me. Jacob then proceeded to ask me why I was calling customer service. I explained that I was trying to obtain my card number so he could input it into the system. He then retracted what he had previously said and told me that since he already ran my alternate card he would not be able to reverse it. The only way out of that would be for me to come back and talk to a manager the next morning. I don't care to go into any more details about this--- only that my boyfriend came in to grab the keys and saw the look on Jacob's face. When I met him outside I asked him if he could tell that Jacob was being impudent toward me-- He said "Yes." If I had to explain it, it was the extreme feeling of anger in his eyes that I couldn't shake. During this whole interaction, I had the agent from American Express on the phone. I didn't care to speak to Jacob any longer-- I simply said "Thank you" and walked out of the lobby. The agent from AMEX heard the entire conversation and said "I could tell your front desk experience with the gentleman at the front desk (referring to Jacob) was impolite and discourteous. She then proceeded to apologize on his behalf as this wasn't the type of experience that they condone for Marriott Bonvoy members. I agreed. For this alone, I can't recommend staying here.

Room was spacious and very clean, bathroom too. Linens were amazingly comfortable. It's a beautiful property. I loved it, everything was super clean and spotless, and I'm a huge critic for cleanliness! Even the restaurant was delicious! Came with children and it was a perfect stay. I can't wait to return!!

I reserved and prepaid $977.28 through the AAA Travel website for a Premium Two King Beds room. My confirmation clearly states that I purchased a Premium Two King Beds room. Before traveling, I also called the hotel directly to verify my reservation, and I was assured everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room type was no longer available. Instead of the two king beds I had reserved and paid for, I was given a room with only one king bed and a rollaway bed. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my adult daughter. Because the rollaway bed was not suitable for my daughter, my mother had to sleep on the rollaway bed for our three-night stay. This was not the room I purchased, and it significantly affected our comfort during our trip. I immediately asked whether another room was available or whether the hotel could provide a discount or other accommodation. I was told the hotel was sold out and that nothing could be done. The staff was not empathetic and repeatedly stated that because I had booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do. After returning home, I contacted the hotel again. During that conversation, I was told that I had been "bumped" because I booked through a third party and that had I booked directly through the hotel, they would have honored my reservation. I find this unacceptable. My reservation was confirmed, paid in full, and verified directly with the hotel before my arrival. Guests should not receive inferior accommodations simply because they booked through an authorized travel partner such as AAA. I respectfully request: * A partial refund for failing to provide the room category I paid for. * A written explanation as to why my confirmed reservation was not honored. * An explanation of the hotel's policy regarding confirmed reservations made through AAA and other authorized travel agencies. I have already opened a case with AAA Travel and hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.
