For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

Staff were nice in helping sign up for the rewards program as well.

Parking is usually pretty rough at this strip mall but they do have a back lot as well and usually a bit more luck taking that route. One of the cashiers here was taking her sweet time ringing up a customer and the vibe was very weird with her mean mugging everyone. At one point another staff member was walking up and asked her "why are you looking at me like that". So yeah, there's that.

She said sure. She returned the items and I left the store. I looked at the receipt and she put the value right back into the original card creating a very troubling series of events for me over the next few months I tried to reach out to Kohls through several channels and was completely ignored for months. Like, not even a generic response. Finally I reached someone who demanded the original receipt which I obviously don't have anymore because I had to give it back to the gift giver since Kohl's made an unauthorized transaction on their card and I had to return the receipt to them. Crazy that they would have expected me to have possession of it months later (it took months before anyone ever responded to me). I told them I don't have possession of the receipt anymore and that I had to give it back to the owner, and they never bothered to investigate any further. They never asked for a transaction name, date, or time. They have since stopped talking to me again. Go next door to Target. You deserve better than to feed your money to a business who will ghost you when they drop the ball.

I will say it's a bit dead and very hard to find staff to help besides a few of the checkout areas. Back when I worked retail 2-3 people were staffed to each department to cashier/assist & zone the area, now it's just a cashier. Overall you can find some nice things in Kohls.
