They have a great community, classes are fun, and all of the folks (staff + other students) are friendly. I just so happen to have signed up when they were running a promotion and signed up for the more classes immediately. I have been going for the past couple of months and always leave feeling good about the class. There was a full blown show at the end of the season in Majestic theatre. That was fun to see all of the other classes (adults and children) . Highly recommend visiting. Meredith and team are awesome!

When I came to this studio at the beginning of my sophomore year, I was inexperienced and…read moreuncoordinated; however I loved to dance and I wanted to test out my raw dancing abilities. As shy as I am, and as inexperienced as I was, I didn't fit into the group of established dancers that were there, and I felt alone at first. For those of you that are outgoing and ready from the get go to make new friends, you will do just that when you come to Billy Clower. However, if you find yourself to be more shy and reserved, then you may have a hard time when you first come to the studio. You may feel like the odd one out, and you may feel alone for a time. But I highly encourage you to stick with it; because it is an experience that you do not want to miss out on. I have had the time of my life at Billy Clower Dance Studio, and I could talk about the clean facilities and the quality of the studio and even its comfortable and convenient location, but those things pale in comparison to the incredible instruction and high-level education that you will receive from the teachers at Billy Clower. They are all highly trained and experienced in multiple styles of dance, and they are always ready and more than willing and happy to help you with anything. They value each and every student at the studio, and they love to encourage and help their students thrive. They make Billy Clower Dance Studio the incredible place that it is, and I am blessed to be able to be under their wise and excellent instruction. I have been at Billy Clower Dance Studio for almost 3 years now, and since my awkward first appearances at the beginning of sophomore year, I have become the assistant dance teacher at Foothill Technology High School under the instruction of Alison Teague; who teaches beginner and intermediate classes at Foothill, and who teaches multiple Jazz, Tap, and Zumba classes at the studio. I am also an assistant dance teacher to Jasmine Miranda in her Hip-Hop 1 class, who teaches all levels of Hip-Hop at the studio. I am well trained in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary Jazz, and I have been steadily improving in Ballet. My experience at Billy Clower was a hard one at first. I struggled with being outgoing and social, and I still do. But when it came down to it, the only thing that really mattered was how hard I was willing to work. So I worked. I loved to dance and I dedicated my mind and my body to improving myself, and my teachers noticed. They never stopped encouraging me and helping me improve my technique, and the quality of my performance. Due to the Lord, their support, and my work, I thrived at Billy Clower, and made my presence known; and I have witnessed several other students do the same. I am a senior in high school now, and I will soon be leaving the studio and going to college; but I feel extremely confident in entering any college dance program because of the built up knowledge and experience that I have received at Billy Clower. I am sad to leave, but I feel prepared and hopeful for the future, and I know that the skills that I have acquired at Billy Clower will be with me for the rest of my life. So go give it a shot. You will not regret it.

My daughter took some ballet classes over the summer and she loved it!!…read more The instructors seemed friendly and nice to the kids and my daughter learned a lot from the lessons she took. They don't really allow parents to watch which is why I took off one star. I loved watching my daughter dancing. They don't have a lot of sitting inside but they have more sitting available outside. Everything looked clean which I liked. I might sign her up again once we are done with other activities we are doing at the moment.

I really appreciate how attuned the instructors are at not only teaching the generic dance steps, but also really seeing what will benefit each student, and teaching accordingly. I'm someone who cares most about the feeling and essence of the dance - I love feeling inspired while dancing, and I really feel this here. While she has been in gymnastics and…read moretumbling since she was 2 she became fearful of doing forward rolls so while searching for something to get her creative energy rolling we found Ballet Academy Ventura. We stopped in for the free class of creative movement and what started as nerves and sitting around for the first half of the class to fully engaged the second half. After that trial she couldn't stop talking about it. We enrolled into the classes and it's been a blast to start each saturday with this. The instructors are patient and keep classes rolling and are very engaging to get those who aren't feeling the early morning start. I can't wait to see what the program has to offer and the ease and flexibility of everything makes it too simple.

As a parent one always wants to indulge their children in the cute little things life offers. We asked the owner a simple question and she replied it's in the hand out. We asked her for help logging onto her website she replied, "Everyone else can do it." We took our child out and as she grew older we decided to give it another try. We found ourselves in the same dilemma. The owner is very condescending when one asks for help. I will never go to this place again. As an adult I am not in the practice of paying someone to be arrogant, condescending or rude to my family.
