Five Stars The Mall That Still Gets It Right…read more Let me start off by saying this. I'd love to hit every single spot in here and give them all their moment, but you're only getting a handful of my favorites because this place is massive. And honestly, that's part of the charm. Clackamas Town Center is what a mall is supposed to be. You've got the movie theater, a legit food court, a full-on carousel, and hundreds of shops that'll keep you wandering longer than you planned. And here's something real. When it's hot outside or you've got kids bouncing off the walls, stepping into that air conditioning feels like you just made a life decision that matters. You'll walk this place and accidentally get your steps in. It's the kind of exercise you don't argue with. They've got little things that make a difference too. A koi pond that slows you down for a second. Kid corners where families can reset. It's not just shopping. It's an experience you can stretch into a whole afternoon without even trying. Now let's talk convenience, because this place nails it. TriMet runs right through here with both bus and MAX light rail access. There's a park and ride, which is clutch. You can literally park your car and take the MAX straight out to Portland International Airport and skip the airport parking headache. That alone makes this place a power move. And the surrounding lineup is stacked. You've got the Residence Inn right in the mix, plus food spots like Claim Jumper, Oswego Grill, Mezcaluna, and fun like Dave and Buster's. Whether you're eating, hanging out, or making a night of it, it's all right there. Fun fact time. This mall first opened back in 1981 and has gone through multiple expansions to become one of the largest shopping centers in Oregon. It's also one of the few in the region that still feels modern, alive, and constantly evolving while others have slowed down or faded out. Inside, you've got everything from AT&T to REI and more shops than you'll realistically hit in one trip. You can come here for a couple errands and somehow lose a few hours without regret. Only downside. Parking can be a mission. You might end up a bit of a walk out. But honestly, that just adds to the experience. More steps, more time, more reason to wander. In my opinion, this is the mall in the Portland area. The others might exist, but this one actually delivers. It's clean, it's modern, it's full of life, and it gives you a reason to come back. If you're anywhere nearby and wondering where to go, this is it.

Some security dude immediately jumped in to lecture us about "making out," which was awkward as hell and completely unnecessary in a public mall full of couples, kids, noise, and real issues. Clackamas Town Center wants to look like a modern shopping mall but runs it like Greater Idaho in spirit. If basic human affection is a problem, maybe throw up a sign so people know what decade they're stepping into.

They carry Aloha Collection bags, which are water resistant and super packable-- with happy colors and designs. The clothing is modern and trendy, but not over the top fast fashion. They have a variety of women's clothing, shoes, accessories, and bags. The quality looks great on the pieces and it's easy to shop. There are a lot of staple items as well. The owner was at the shop when I stopped in and she is super nice, and she shared that they will update items seasonally. Right now, they have a good mix of warm and cold weather items such as sweaters, vests, and a variety of jackets. I picked up a very cute vest that is cotton/canvas on the outside and faux fur on the inside with a removable hood. Very reasonably priced! Excited to stop in and check it out again the next time I pick up grocery. I might do a Safeway pickup and spend my shopping time at Ruby Shade instead of at Safeway!

However you cannot purchase the replacement roller or filter if you need too. It's a one time use. I contacted Dreame and they do not have any replacement parts that you can purchase. So you end up spending $175 for a couple months. I have gone round and round with the Dreame customer service and they obviously do not care. Am I mad?!? Very!! I'm contacting the better business bureau and filing a complaint. Target should look into their products before putting them on the shelves.

Some refuse to assist when asked for help, or if they do, it's as if helping is a major inconvenience to them. They also lock the doors before posted business hours, without any explanation or warning. There is no point in operating a business if you are not going to switch things up on a whim, especially when this is a corporate company. I asked several employees to show me where (a sign, a website , etc.) they have specified that the store closes 5-10 minutes early, and none of them could. One of them refused to speak to me (he actually ran, & gave a snarky response while doing so), even though I was very polite when asking. None of the employees I've encountered over the last few weeks should be working in customer service. If there was another Target nearby, I would frequent that one, but unfortunately, this is it. Hopefully, the people working here will receive the necessary training on how to work with the public, & how to execute proper customer service at all times. I understand wanting to get home, but there is a better way to go about doing things. If the store is going to close early, the hours that are posted should reflect this.

I found myself wandering aimlessly trying to find the woman's athletic wear department which is usually prominent at other ON locations. In Clackamad it is hidden way in the back of the store near the toddler section. Crazy. After finding the section, they were out if the particular sculpt leggings I was seeking. The main reason I was at ON was to process a return of some leggings I bought online during the pandemic not realizing I already had several pairs already. Boredom shopping on my part! The return was simple and painless so for that I am appreciative. Drove out to this Clackamas location since stores in the Portland metro area *Multnomah County) are not yet open so for me it was worth the ride to get this off my "to-do" list but I'd never make a specific journey to this location. They had hand sanitizer available which should become the norm everywhere. But I seemed to be the only one wearing a face mask. Come on people in Clackamas! I hate the mall, but I love this store for some unknown reason, well, it might be that I was a teenager in the 80's and a closet punk still. Where else can you still get albums, real ones, the ones your kids have no clue what they are. Tons of t-shirts with every band you can think of, new and old. Plenty of Goth body hardware to set off any respectable metal detector. You see all age ranges shopping in here, but mostly, I have seen a lot of people in their 30's and 40's, mixed with some younger kids. but you can find some unique gifts for people you might not see anywhere else at the mall.
