Let me tell you, they are the best in Sacramento! I'm originally from Sacramento but currently living in Orange County. From just having to do everything over the phone and not in person, they have delivered every custom aspect I had asked for: from the head table, backdrop, centerpieces and flower chandelier. The highlight of my wedding day was my reception decor. Over a year of planning, my decor was more than I could've ever imagined. Cindee is amazing!! This is my first ever review but 4 months later after my wedding and I'm still disappointed. I don't want to be negative but I feel like I need to write a review for future brides. To be honest, I felt cat fished. The decor on the instagram made me feel like I put my ideas in the right hands and it would be highly executed. Unfortunately, things did not turn out like I planned. They showed up over an hour late to start setting up and were still decorating during the ceremony. When I got to the venue, I notice the gazebo was not what I asked for. I asked for the gazebo to be fully covered in garland on the top and on the on-site visit I said I wanted all oldestness of the gazebo to be covered. I even had a photo of what I wanted with the garland coming down. I was told it could be done in two meetings before. I want to note that the draping was fine because when I told them it was not what I wanted they said "but we told Emily about the three draping". They said if they had time they would fix the Gazebo but then said their ladder wasn't long enough to make the garland go higher? I think my patio was the biggest disappointment. All I can say is.. it wasn't what I asked for, nor worth the pay. On our on site visit, they said they would do multiple things to the patio (like an entrance draping for the guest) but due to them having no time, I think they just didn't do it. To end this off. They didn't fully clean the patio either. They left strings hanging up, which my mom had to cut down so we could get our cleaning deposit back from our venue. I do want to say, they are very nice people. It was easy communication, just a text away. Maybe it was just a one time thing. But from my experience it wasn't worth all the money we spent. I know they can do amazing stuff! I see their Instagram all the time and they know what they are doing. Just not in my case. I will put pictures below. I encountered CL decor at an open house at a wedding venue. There were other floral shops there but what attracted me the most was their sweetheart table backdrop display. I approached their setup and spoke to Lan. Lan was very approachable and pleasant throughout our interaction. Lan also provided me a price point sheet with itemized items that I could select as opposed to getting a full package like most vendors which may encompass items you don't want/need. I ended up booking CL Decor as my florist and don't regret it one bit. Lan was easy to work with and the communication was amazing. I had the honor of working with Cindee and it is the BEST decision I could have made. Cindee is truly an expert at what she does and made wedding planning so much easier since we were able to trust that Cindee and her team were going to execute on exactly what we had discussed. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we talked to multiple decor vendors in the Bay Area. When we talked about our vision, we found that some of them would try to get us to settle on what we wanted based on what they had in inventory. When we finally set up our consultation call with Cindee and explained what we wanted, she literally said she can get it done and will get it done. She made us feel so excited about what we wanted and even made some suggestions about what could work well given our wants and budget. Cindee was extremely responsive with every single correspondence (we preferred talking via text). For me it was very important that the vendor I selected was responsive, since I've had to chase down certain vendors in the past and it was a nightmare. Cindee, however, would always reply either within the hour OR if she knew it was going to take her some time to reply, she would at least say she is out and let me know when she will plan on sending me an update. In response to Lan's reply, I never acknowledged I was called, because I was never, EVER, called, emailed, or texted. No effort whatsoever was put into reaching out to me after I looked over the initial quote. During the times I did talk on the phone with Lan, I was repeatedly put on hold and made to feel as if I was bothering her. I was told only the day I reached out to Lan after waiting two weeks, that a pending bride had just reached out to them. I then immediately said I wanted to book. The fact Lan is flat out lying about calling, and texting me, is absolutely mind blowing. I never stated I didn't answer (a call she never made in the first place) and said I was busy. That is a flat out, blatant lie. This is not a misunderstanding anymore, this is backpedaling and lying to cover a mistake made on their part. I am surprised they are now accusing me of lying, not taking their calls, and then saying I was busy! I really shouldn't be surprised though after what they did. I understand other brides are also trying to book their wedding decor, and it's a busy time of year, but I had been in contact with Lan from the beginning of May, and have the screen shots of texts, call records, and emails to prove just how minimal the service extended to myself and my fiancé was. I am again continuously blamed for the lack of communication, as you can tell from the reply from Lan. If I needed to speak with Cindy, the partner who supposedly booked the other person over me, I would have gladly done so if that meant I could give them the money I was trying to pay them. There was little to no communication between the two people and in doing so, the fact I had been speaking with Lan since the beginning of May got overlooked, and I am now out a wedding decorator. In regards to keeping my options open and looking at other possible vendors, I definitely did that. However, we had finalized all the details over two phone calls and a couple emails over an extended period of time, and I was given a final price quote, to which I IMMEDIATELY replied I wanted to book, both in email and text form. I was then told she was "out of town" and I was yet again put on the back burner...during which time they conveniently found another person to book. If the business would have communicated half as well with me as they did with writing the extremely long response to my original review, we would not be having this issue. I was blown off from after the first quote, and continue to be blamed for their lack of professionalism. I have never had such an issue with a business ever before. I was made to feel like I was bothering them by asking for follow up on something they should have followed up on with a potential client. They should be ashamed that they further attempt to blamed for their very large oversight and conduct themselves in this manner. For anybody looking to this company for a day as important as a wedding, I urge you to be cautious with investing a large amount of money and depending on them to be there for you.
