tl;dr - Dude doesn't honor the prices listed on his webpage and over charges on a whim. If you have…read morea car, you should be ok. If you have an SUV expect to be overcharged. I recently took my 2011 Subaru Forester here for a full detailing. The price listed on his website is $200 for "Small - Midsize" and $275 for "Full Size Vehicles". I arrived, there is no sign, no indication of a business location. Its apparently just this guys garage in his back yard. As I am slow-driving around looking he waves to me in my car. I park and walk back. I had scheduled online indicating I had a Small/midsize. He asked me to confirm that I scheduled the full detail for a small/midsize with price of $200 and he looked at my car (parked in front of his house) and asks me if it is small/midsize which I confirm. It should be noted here that Small, Midsize and Fullsize are legally defined size categories for cars. A 2011 Subaru Forester has about 100 cubic feet of interior space, and is about 179 inches in length. It does even meet the classification of a midsize and is considered a small/compact vehicle. This will become relevant later. Having agreed and shook, I left and had business out of town I needed to attend to. About an hour later I get a text Based on the condition and that this is an SUV it would be $275 this needs deep shampooing and lots of steam on the interior." I remember that that is an extra fee for lots of pet hair and dirt but I can't remember what it is. And I am out of town, I have no way to get back to the car even if didn't like it, so I agree thinking that his concern is the extra cleaning needed (Note: I did clean the car out before hand. Yes the cup holders were dirty and oh god the pine needles... but I don't let animals in the cars and I just drive this vehicle 20 miles to work. What exactly is detailing if not extra cleaning for the car? Like... am I really paying this much for him to clean... my clean car?) When I finally have a chance to get online I confirm his prices for small and midsize and I see the extra fee is $25 not $75. That evening I pick up the car and try to ask about it. Turns out he is charging me $275 full size price because it is an SUV. Even though this vehicle is smaller than most cars, even though he saw it before I left and agreed with me on the small/midsize pricing, he apparently just always charges SUV's as full size. Even when explaining how a) this is not indicated AT ALL on his website, and b) he sent me a text that I thought was saying it was going to cost more because it was dirty; he didn't care. I agreed to the price. And in the end he is right, I deserve to pay that price because I didn't fully understand what I was agreeing to. And in the end, he deserves this rating, because his service was crap and he used deceptive and unclear marketing. And in the end, he deserves to loose my business for the next three cars I was going to bring in for detailing. As for the actual work... it wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't any better than what I could have done at home with 5 hours to clean the car. Not professional in any way, I basically payed a guy off the street to clean my car. Update: but wait, there's more! I got the car detailed because I am planning to sell it. So today l finally get out to prep the car for sale and I find he barely cleaned it! Just the stuff you can see right away. He didn't clean the instrument panel or vacuum the folds of the seats or... Well, just look at the pictures. So now, I need to go clean this car that I just paid $275 to have cleaned! Update 2: haha! the story changes again! Guy didn't like my review so now its about how 'dirty' it was, which when I brought up the cost increase it was specifically stated as not the reason. Whatever. Dear reader do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I deep clean my cars every fall, there's no pets and I don't eat in my car... so there was a single year of dirt and pine needles. If that is too much to handle then do you really want this guy cleaning your car? I sure dont.

He cancelled June 23rd "emergency"he said "no problem i will just move everything to the 30th at…read morethe same time see you then" i sent i reminder to make sure and get this brush off. "When are you free next. Book the apt online I can't do it today "i live 60 miles away but had some other business to take care of in Binghamton.i already rescheduled it once now i have to do it again. If you value your time go some place else
